Prepare and perform quality reviews of other Engineer's work on deliverables such design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications. Perform engineering estimates for cost and project schedules. Work with multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of Dam Safety Engineering projects. Responsible for quality control. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff. Develop engineering proposals. Flexibility and willingness to travel for project work part time as needed. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with demonstrated coursework in Geotechnical Engineering + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in at least one state with the ability to successfully apply for reciprocity in additional states. Relevant experience with dams and other hydraulic structures, including rehabilitation and/or new design and construction. Experience in relevant geotechnical engineering software programs such as GeoStudio and gINT. Valid U.S. Driver's License and as a condition of employment, must be able to pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records review. Due to the nature of work, U.S. Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications: 8 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering and/or Dams Engineering. Master's degree in Civil Engineering. Project experience with the US Army Corps of Engineers or the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
