As an operator you will report to the Plant Manager who will serve as the System's Primary Designated Operator. Working alongside a team, you will participate in the day-to-day operations and maintenance activities of the department's drinking water treatment and distribution systems. The system consists of two (2) sets of groundwater wells, each set with a treatment system, and six (6) storage tanks as well as the department's distribution system. Operators work M-F between the hours of 0700-1600. Operators rotate a 7 day on call coverage schedule, with a $200 per week on call stipend provided.
