CQS is currently seeking a full-time Office Administrator to join our team. This role will support daily office operations by performing clerical and administrative tasks, which include answering phones, scheduling meetings, handling correspondence, managing supplies, and maintaining records. They serve as the first point of contact for visitors and vendors, and may also assist with bookkeeping, and general office maintenance to ensure the workplace runs efficiently. This position will have a 90-day introductory period before moving to full-time employment.
Responsibilities and Duties
Include but are not limited to the following:
Project & Departmental Support: Provide administrative support to the Chief Administrative Officer with tasks related to business administration, operations, accounting, and management.
Administrative Tasks: Answer phones, respond to emails, prepare correspondence, documents, reports, and presentations.
Vendor & Client Services: Act as the first point of contact for visitors and vendors; greet guests and ensure a welcoming experience for anyone entering the office. Accept and unload deliveries to the office.
Office Management: Oversee day-to-day office functions, maintaining adequate inventory of office and kitchen supplies, coordinating maintenance and repairs of office equipment, and upholding a clean, organized, and professional workspace.
Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure the office environment meets safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards; assist with security access and emergency protocols.
Vendor Relations: Serve as a point of contact for office vendors (cleaning, maintenance, IT support, office supplies, security, etc.); help with service contracts, monitor vendor performance, and coordinate repairs or service requests as needed.
Office Budget & Purchasing: Track and manage office-related expenses, maintain budgets for supplies and equipment, and ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Document Control: File and organize administrative and project-related communications such as schedules and contract documents.
Confidentiality: Handle sensitive information in a professional, discrete, and secure manner.
Technology Coordination: Liaise with IT vendors to support equipment setup, troubleshooting, and software/hardware inventory management.
Project Finance Support: Assist with data entry for purchase orders, invoices, expense reports, time sheets, and vendor documentation as needed.
HR Support: Assist with maintaining employee records and coordinating HR-related administrative tasks such as badge applications.
Event Planning: Plan and coordinate quarterly team-building activities, company outings, and office celebrations.
Other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an administrative, office management, or operations support role.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Professional demeanor and the ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and general office software.

Provide onsite/offsite support for the DDC systems.
Conduct inspections, preventative and routine maintenance, and performance testing to DDC systems and components.
Identify, isolate, and provide solutions for system, software, infrastructure, component, and communication errors and issues.
Repair, retrofit, modify, or remove components, in part or in whole, of the DDC systems. This includes but is not limited to, hardware, software, HVAC, and medium and low voltage (Mostly Class 2) electrical components, and wiring that is controlled or supported by the DDC systems.
Read, write, and develop logic and code to support or enhance the existing logic.
Perform annual inspections, inventory, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on all end devices of the DDC system.
Perform preventative maintenance including calibrating electronic, electric, and pneumatic controllers, transistors, dampers, space temperature sensors, mixing boxes, end devices, and related components.
Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and performance testing on computer control systems, communication systems, and software systems.
Perform routine analysis of system and software to identify areas of improvement to coincide with improving efficiency and use of the system.
Perform an inventory of components, systems, parts, and supporting systems of the DDC system.
Produce clear, concise, and comprehensive written/electronic reports detailing the status, work performed, deficiencies noted, and corrective actions.
Work Hours
Perform routine tasks between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST. Monday through Friday, except federal holidays. Overtime may be required as needed.
Job Qualifications
Have experience and documented training with DDC systems.
Mid-to-high proficiency in Automated Logic WebCTRL and Tridium Niagara brand systems is preferable.
Be able to read and analyze programming logic, graphics, configure/diagnose trending data, utilize/customize reporting information, and diagnose system network local and IP infrastructure (BACnet MSTP, BACnet/IP, Modbus, and Lonworks).
Be knowledgeable in HVAC and electrical equipment and apparatus that are controlled (directly and indirectly) by the DDC system.
Demonstrate a firm ability to complete necessary communication documentation for CQS as a primary site representative, including but not limited to planning, execution, and post work reporting.

Job Qualifications:
Has at least 5 years of work experience in the installation of BAS.
A journeyman's electrical license (or higher) is preferred.

Identify any potential problem areas, recommend solutions, and work closely and cooperatively with the client to resolve issues quickly and fairly.

Facilitate final sign-off/walk-thru and closeout of projects with the client.

Job Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years work experience in HVAC, Building Automation or control systems with a minimum of 3 years directly working on any combination of integration, checkout, testing, commissioning, and/or field support of DDC and/or PLC-based automation systems

Programming experience is desirable but not required.

CQS has an exciting opportunity for a Building Automation System (BAS) Technician to join our team.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:
Provide onsite/offsite support for the DDC systems.
Conduct inspections, preventative and routine maintenance, and performance testing to DDC systems and components.
Identify, isolate, and provide solutions for system, software, infrastructure, component, and communication errors and issues.
Repair, retrofit, modify, or remove components, in part or in whole, of the DDC systems. This includes but is not limited to, hardware, software, HVAC, and medium and low voltage (Mostly Class 2) electrical components, and wiring that is controlled or supported by the DDC systems.
Read, write, and develop logic and code to support or enhance the existing logic.
Perform annual inspections, inventory, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on all end devices of the DDC system.
Perform preventative maintenance including calibrating electronic, electric, and pneumatic controllers, transistors, dampers, space temperature sensors, mixing boxes, end devices, and related components.
Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, repairs, and performance testing on computer control systems, communication systems, and software systems.
Perform routine analysis of system and software to identify areas of improvement to coincide with improving efficiency and use of the system.
Perform an inventory of components, systems, parts, and supporting systems of the DDC system.
Produce clear, concise, and comprehensive written/electronic reports detailing the status, work performed, deficiencies noted, and corrective actions.
Work Hours
Perform routine tasks between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. EST. Monday through Friday, except federal holidays. Overtime may be required as needed.
Job Qualifications
Have experience and documented training with DDC systems.
Mid-to-high proficiency in Automated Logic WebCTRL and Tridium Niagara brand systems is preferable.
Be able to read and analyze programming logic, graphics, configure/diagnose trending data, utilize/customize reporting information, and diagnose system network local and IP infrastructure (BACnet MSTP, BACnet/IP, Modbus, and Lonworks).
Be knowledgeable in HVAC and electrical equipment and apparatus that are controlled (directly and indirectly) by the DDC system.
Demonstrate a firm ability to complete necessary communication documentation for CQS as a primary site representative, including but not limited to planning, execution, and post work reporting.
Minimum of 4-5 years' work experience in HVAC, Building Automation, or control systems with a minimum of 1 years directly working on any combination of integration, checkout, testing, commissioning, and/or field support of DDC and/or PLC-based automation systems.
Demonstrate working knowledge of automatic temperature controls implementation and theory, building automation systems best practices, and other building subsystem metering requirements.
Demonstrate working knowledge of specification and design drawing review for control, electrical and mechanical applications to coordinate long-term and stable DDC usage based on such documentation, site observations, and industry best practices.
Proficient in formulating work plans and perform troubleshooting methods given multiple constraints including project time requirements, lack of documentation from a site, or incomplete installation by others prior to CQS work.
Must work independently with little or no supervision while providing guidance to other team members.
