CQS has an exciting opportunity for a Building Automation System (BAS) Project Engineer II to join our team to support the implementation of building automation systems for multiple clients in the Washington, DC Metro Area.
Position Overview
The Building Automation System (BAS) Project Engineer II is responsible for engineering auditing, design and implementation of BAS strategies across various mechanical and electrical systems to achieve project success. This is a customer facing role for an experienced BAS application engineering professional. This position will work in a leadership role and may include various functional areas including BAS design, renovation, retrofit, auditing, retro-commissioning, checkout, programming. This position will functionally report to a Senior Project Manager/Director.
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the following:

Conduct project site visits to investigate existing BAS systems serving mechanical, electrical and HVAC equipment and document existing conditions including system performance information and infrastructure drawings.
Lead in engineering design and development activities in support of BAS construction, operations, and maintenance of customer site projects as required by energy savings performance contracts, O & M contracts, and fee-based consultations.
Coordinate with vendors and installation contractors for successful implementation of project scopes of work (SOW).
Work with project stakeholders (customers, supervisors, programmers, field personnel, other contractors) to gather information relating to any issues and/or changes in functionality and features of various control systems.
Lead and manage the coordination of integration activity and provide technical support of DDC based hardware and software including working with other engineers to create and/or verify control and integration point lists.
Conduct graphics engineering functions which include: reviewing graphics as a completed package, for completeness and accuracy, develop and maintain graphic library, and participate in solving job-related graphic problems.
Properly document and collaborate with project stakeholders (customers, supervisors, programmers, field personnel, other contractors) to achieve alignment on objectives, priorities, schedules, risks, features, etc.
Assist in the training of associates, equipment operators, end users, technical support staff on BAS operation and procedures.
Identify any potential problem areas, recommend solutions, and work closely and cooperatively with the client to resolve issues quickly and fairly.
Assist in the creation and implementation of innovative methodologies, process improvements, and corrective action plans to continually streamline and improve project operations, outcomes, and quality
Facilitate final sign-off/walk-thru and closeout of projects with the client.
Perform other duties as assigned by leadership
Job Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years work experience in HVAC, Building Automation or control systems with a minimum of 3 years directly working on any combination of integration, checkout, testing, commissioning, and/or field support of DDC and/or PLC-based automation systems
Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred but not required if years and level of experience is acceptable
Programming experience is desirable but not required.
Demonstrate working knowledge of control theory, automatic temperature controls, building automation systems and other building subsystems, PLC Logic
Demonstrate working knowledge of specification and design drawing review for control, electrical and mechanical applications as well as industry standards and best practices
Knowledge of IP-based networks and various building automation communication protocols and systems preferred. Such protocols and systems include, BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus, etc.
Proficient in formulating work plans and performing troubleshooting methods given multiple constraints on BAS
Proficient in working with others to plan, conduct, and report work efforts
Must work independently with little or no supervision while providing guidance to other team members
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people.
Ability to be attentive and responsive to client concerns.
Ability to prioritize and multi-task within time and technical constraints.

The Senior Reservoir Engineer will provide technical and strategic support to the Haynesville Development team, with responsibilities spanning prospect delineation, performance forecasting, development planning, economic evaluation, flowback optimization, production forecasting, post-well reviews, and reserves estimation. This role works cross-functionally with teams including Finance, Geoscience, Wells, Operations, and Midstream to drive value creation and deliver key business outcomes in a high-activity, multi-rig drilling program.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and maintain integrated reservoir development plans in collaboration with the Geoscience team, optimizing future well placement and identifying well interventions to maximize field value.
Lead development project AFEs and pre-spud technical reviews in coordination with Geology, Land, Drilling & Completions (D&C), Facilities, Commissioning, and Midstream teams.
Define and implement fit-for-purpose reservoir and well surveillance programs to enable performance evaluation, hydrocarbon-in-place estimation, and development optimization.
Apply rate and pressure transient analysis (RTA/PTA) to assess well performance and inform completion design and spacing strategies.
Lead technical data acquisition and subsurface evaluation efforts in collaboration with the Subsurface Technology team to improve field development strategies.
Work closely with Drilling, Completions, and Facilities teams to optimize well design and maximize asset value.
Perform economic evaluations of development scenarios and make recommendations for project execution.
Analyze and recommend action on third-party (OBO) development proposals, including decisions on participation or divestment.
Develop and guide flowback strategies to ensure new wells achieve optimal productivity.
Monitor in-year production wedge performance and conduct regular forecasting and economic assessments.
Execute post-well reviews in collaboration with Wells, Geoscience, and Operations to evaluate performance and integrate learnings into future development.
Contribute innovative ideas to the opportunity hopper and progress viable concepts through the development funnel to execution.
Support Corporate Reserves processes, including resource classification and reserve estimation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning
Reviews quote and estimate with regional sales manager and / or estimator and ensures the sales to operations handoff is complete
Generate project plan summarizing schedule of events
Plan site layout per customer, work and safety requirements
Communicate resource requirements
Manage travel lodging and other personnel logistics
Verify resource availability
Request project equipment, materials and consumables
Prepare, maintain, and control project management files and reports pre and post job
Obtain required customer approvals and signatures
Project Execution
Manage work to scope of contract

Performs post project materials inventory and communicates results to accounting department
Review and approve all project charges and total job cost
Communicates project completion to accounting department and management
Sales and Customer Support
Support sales and managerial team as needed during estimating process including attending pre-bid meetings and inspections
Scope and sell additional project opportunities while on-site
Collaborate with other IGS personnel for ongoing customer/account management
General assistance with corporate, operational and/or administrative matters when not assigned to project work
Skills and Abilities Required:
Extensive knowledge of all IGS equipment and processes and be able to provide solutions to customer specific needs

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Project Manager is responsible for regional gas processing and treating plant projects, field gathering projects, and will manage these capital growth projects and/or other operations or commercial-derived projects meeting project scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
* Implement entire project cycle for growth capital projects including: scope and design development, AFE preparation and submittals, material procurement, execution and construction oversite, commissioning, and project completion.

Patterson-UTI's Drilling Automation team is a growing group of energetic, passionate individuals working to improve our operations through automation. Engineers in our Technology Group are responsible for the conception, design, development, and maintenance of drilling rig control system(s) software and hardware. The preferred candidate should have an established fundamental knowledge of control system principles, exceptional problem-solving skills, experience with Variable Frequency Drives, industrial communication protocols, and drilling rig equipment. They will be responsible for developing new products, sustaining current rig software applications, and fixing issues that are reported with the systems.
Some example projects that we are developing, testing, and deploying include:
Designing drilling advisory systems to improve drilling efficiency
Automation of repetitive multistep mechanical tasks in the drilling process such as connections, reaming, and tripping
Integration of third-party applications into the control system such as battery energy storage and managed pressure drilling systems

Detailed Description:
Apply exceptional understanding of engineering fundamentals with attention to detail and problem solving skills to complete deliverables of multi-disciplinary backgrounds
Responsible for developing control algorithms, PLC software, HMI design/development, system architecture design, and implementation of industrial communication protocols
Be proficient in designing, developing, and applying control system theory to develop software for new and existing systems
Design and develop drilling applications to improve efficiency and automate drilling processes
Be able to understand/translate the functional requirements into a system architecture and develop the best solution for large scale implementation
Provide accurate system, loop, block, and network diagrams for new or existing systems
Generate design documentation, drawings, operation manuals and related material for system code and hardware
Generate work tasks, organize the ordering and delivery of equipment and materials, and oversee the efficient installation and commissioning of software and equipment
Work directly with third party contractors, Operations, Technical Services, HSE management, and rig crews to assist with the execution of a wide variety of company goals including, but not limited to, drilling control systems, R&D projects, etc.
Provide technical support to field personnel as required to assist with troubleshooting PLC and control system issues
Follow a formal process for software change control to ensure that changes are introduced in a controlled and coordinated manner. This process will also include documenting revision management processes and controls.

Senior Automation & Controls Engineer
Radiant is seeking a highly motivated senior automation and controls engineer who will be working close with design and manufacturing engineers to design, build, and implement automated production and test equipment to support mass production and refueling of our microreactor technology.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Design, develop, and manage automation projects - this includes equipment ideation, machine commissioning, proof of rate capability, quality and reliability studies, and eventual hand-off to operational teams.
Architect, write, and debug PLC code with an emphasis on generating code that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable, and reusable for high-volume manufacturing applications.
