Responsibilities
Investigate missing bills for vacant units and either retrieve them or determine why they cannot be retrieved
Ensure Conservice is receiving expected bills for vacant units
Communicate with utility providers through phone calls and emails
Engage in some written client communication for diverse purposes
Confirm mailing addresses and account details
Recover any missing vacant bills
Assist in recovering all missing bills in billing history
Prevent late fees and utility disconnects where possible

Overview
Property management companies typically receive and pay a single bill per utility for an entire property. They contract with Conservice to split the bill between residents or units. As a Billing Manager at Conservice, you will work with a team to create timely and accurate billing statements that will be sent to residents. Billing Managers are responsible for the properties in their portfolio, taking ownership of those properties and ensuring that the contracted services are delivered each billing cycle, with an emphasis on maintaining client communication. As one becomes more proficient, additional properties can be added, therefore increasing responsibility and pay.
Responsibilities
As a Billing Manager you will:
Provide amazing customer service that Conservice is known for to a portfolio of clients
Be the main point of contact for client questions regarding their resident's utility bills
Assist in ensuring community's resident bills are mailed in a timely manner
Notify clients of any anomalies with their accounts or resident billing
Oversee billing processes to ensure efficiencies and maintain current resident information
Manage professional relationships with Student Housing properties, account managers, and clients
Some overtime may be required to ensure client satisfaction

**Primary Duties /Responsibilities:**
+ Engage with the Technical Customer Advisor to understand when a job has been carried out.
+ Match manifest with original job request in RPM. Confirm this with the Technical Customer Advisor.
+ Escalate to Technical Customer Advisor for speedy resolution in the event of issues.
+ Create and issue the invoice.
+ Respond to any billing queries (that would first come through the Customer Technical Advisor).
**Qualifications**
**Education / Experience / Background:**
+ Invoicing and/ or other financial experience
+ Experience of using computer invoicing systems or similar
+ Sufficient understanding of waste streams, transportation and disposal or the ability to build this understanding
+ High School Diploma
