In 1965, Ashraf came to the United States from Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) as a freshman student at Tennessee Technological University on a Dawood Foundation Grant.
Ashraf graduated from Tennessee Technological University in 1968 with a degree in Civil Engineering.
In 1980, in addition to his position as project engineer for the project, Ashraf was instrumental in the construction of a mosque in Teaneck, New Jersey – one of the first ever constructed in the northeastern United States.
Ashraf moved to Houston, Texas in 1981 to join Brown and Root, Inc. as a civil engineer.
Then in 1985, he founded A.I. & Associates, Inc. with its headquarters office in Houston.
A graduate of Clemson University’s civil engineering program, he has been engaged in construction management since 1987 and has served as a Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager on many different projects.
Jamal started his career in 1988 as a Construction Project Engineer for the Florida DOT. He has been involved with major highway construction projects in Florida while serving as a Resident Engineer for both Ocala and Leesburg Construction offices.
Sandeep played on the university water polo team in India and saved two children from drowning at the Galveston beach in 1992.
In 1994, David founded Infrastructure Engineers with a vision to provide full-service transportation engineering services nationwide.

She served as president of Apex Design, a leading Denver-based transportation consulting firm acquired by CONSOR in October 2020.
He served for two years as the Oregon and Southwest Washington regional manager at Murraysmith, a preeminent water engineering firm that joined CONSOR in 2021.
