Bill Newlands is Constellation’s president and chief executive officer. Bill is responsible for providing strategic leadership and working with the board of directors to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans and policies. He leads the executive management committee and is a member of the board of directors.

Bill joined Constellation in 2015 as EVP, chief growth officer. In 2016, his role expanded to include leadership of the Wine + Spirits Division. In 2017 he became the company’s chief operating officer and in 2018 his role expanded to include president. Bill previously served as president, North America at Beam, Inc. Under his leadership, Beam became one of the fastest-growing companies in its category.

Previous appointments include president, Beam Spirits U.S. (2008-2010); president, Beam Wine Estates (2005-2007); president and CEO, Allied Domecq Wines USA (2002-2005); CEO and board director, wine.com (1999-2001); managing director, U.S. and global marketing officer, LVMH Chandon Estates (1996 - 1999).

Mallika Monteiro is an Exec VP/Chief Growth & Strategy Officer at Constellation Brands Inc US. She has worked as Senior VP/Chief Growth Ofcr/Chief of Staff at Constellation Brands Inc US and VP:Beer Innovation at Constellation Brands Inc US. Mallika studied at Harvard Business School and DePaul University.

Garth Hankinson is Constellation’s executive vice president and chief financial officer reporting to Bill Newlands, president and CEO. He is responsible for corporate strategy, all aspects of finance and accounting, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, information technology and Constellation Ventures. Garth is a member of the executive management committee.

Garth joined Constellation in 2001 as manager of corporate development and progressed in roles as director and vice president of corporate development. He also held the role of vice president, business development of Vincor Canada, a previously owned operating company of Constellation Brands.

Prior to his appointment as CFO, Garth served as senior vice president, corporate development and financial planning and analysis, where he was responsible for the execution of the company’s inorganic growth initiatives, including identifying potential targets for merger, acquisition, joint venture, strategic partnership, or divestiture. In the role, he oversaw the company’s venture investment fund, allocating funds annually to high growth branded and non-branded opportunities within beverage alcohol and close adjacencies, specifically driving the company’s Focus on Female Founders initiative, a pledge to invest in female-founded or female-led companies. Garth also had responsibility for the company’s financial planning and analysis team, which included analysis and review of financial results and projections, as well as preparing reporting packages for executive management.

Before joining Constellation, Garth held roles in sales operations and business intelligence at Xerox Corporation. Garth also served as an auditor and analyst at Citicorp, Inc.

Matt Deegan is a SVP- Chief Global Sales Officer at CONSTELLATION BRANDS, INC. and is based in Elmhurst, Illinois. He has worked as Chief Customer Officer - Vice President, Control States, National Accounts & Category Management at Beam Suntory; Brand Director - Beam Global, Daily's, VEEV, Major Peters at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits; and ILLINOIS - Off Premise Chain / State Manager at Future Brands LLC. Matt attended Loyola University Chicago between 1996 and 2000, KELLOGG SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT between 2014 and 2015, and Harvard Business School between 2019 and 2019.
