Primary Purpose of Position The Journeyman HVAC Installer installs and modifies existing residential HVAC equipment and all types of related products according to installation instructions, supervisor instructions, and all applicable county or city codes, which includes performing miscellaneous troubleshooting and repairs, modifying and fabricating sheet metal as needed per installation, and identifying any electrical, plumbing, and/or safety problems that apply to the installation and take necessary corrective action. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Assists in advanced applications of home comfort products. Performs clerical duties necessary to complete job work orders. Performs independent work in residential heating and air conditioning, replacement applications, residential plumbing and gas piping, residential flue venting, and residential sheet metal ducting applications.
