Primary Purpose of Position

The primary purpose of this position is to train and prepare to perform the duties of an Operations Shift Supervisor who holds a Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License. * Negotiates complex contract and agreement terms; prepares contracts, deeds, leases, easements and other real estate documents; reviews and interprets property surveys, legal descriptions, engineering drawings, applications for facilities attachments, appraisals, other legal documents and environmental reports, and represents the Department in legal matters with in-house and/or outside counsel.
* Creates and maintains project files and documentation, prepares appraisals, conducts financial analyses, performs property inspections, conducts marketing activities, research company and public real estate and property records and files, interprets real estate and real estate-related documents, prepares reports and evaluations, and performs other necessary activities for assigned projects.
* Acts as a source of real estate information for personnel in other Departments and Business Units.
* Acts as a point of contact for governmental agencies and other external customers seeking information on Exelon real estate assets and projects.
* Act as a liaison or project manager with regional staff or contractors performing services related to Company real estate transactions and/or projects.
* Reports regularly to the Manager/Supervisor on the status of projects and transactions and achievement of performance goals.
* Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager/Supervisor.
* Acts as regional contact for external customers, railroads and municipalities for Exelon real estate related issues, projects and requests.
Job Scope
Acts as a real estate related subject matter resource to internal departments and external customers relative to complex real estate related issues. No day-to-day supervisory responsibilities but supports Real Estate Representatives assigned to complex transactions. Determination of appropriate courses of action relative to real estate related issues is high. Independence of thought and action is high. Responsibilities are diversified and complex in nature. Involves the understanding and application of utility related real estate practices and procedures and real estate industry best practices. Completion of specific tasks requires the exercise of independent judgment and decision-making authority. Work is subject to periodic review.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree or Real Estate Broker's License and 4-7 years of business experience or in lieu of a degree, 6-9 years of business experience.
* At least 3-5 years of real estate transactional experience involving knowledge of legal descriptions and standard real estate practice and documentation.
* Proven negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to organize complex projects, meet critical deadlines and assume primary responsibility for completion of assignments.
* Strong presentation ability and excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Proficient in Excel and MS Office Applications, including MS Access, PowerPoint, Word and MS Project.
* Customer focused, professional and self-starting.
Preferred Qualifications
* Telecom, utility, and "right of way" experience preferred.
* Strong financial aptitude, accounts receivables, collections, and billing experience highly preferred.

Primary Purpose
Transmission & Substation (T&S) Standards are responsible for maintaining and developing new standards and engineering practices that ensure standardized, efficient, safe, and cost-effective designs. This position is responsible for Overhead Transmission Line Engineering Design Standards including voltages of 765kV, 345kV, 138kV & 69kV.
T&S Standards include Engineering Practices, Engineering Standard Practices, Material Specifications, Construction Specifications and Generic Design Drawings. This consists of various responsibilities including reviewing, updating, and facilitating the development of T&S design standards, while working closely with the T&S groups to ensure effective standard implementation. Provides technical expertise to strategic, legislative and operational decisions. This position collaborates with the other Exelon companies and is involved in creating, updating, and applying internal/industry design standards and technology in a specialized area of expertise. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies.

Primary Duties
* Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for a specific class of T&S Standards including Engineering Practices, Engineering Standard Practices, Material Specifications, Construction Specifications and Generic Design Drawings.
* Point of Contact for technical questions related to material application and design standards.
* Works with Vendors on material design improvements and implementation
* Collaborates with Equipment Specialists, Relay & Protection, Substation Engineering, Transmission Engineering, Capacity Planning, Transmission Planning, Testing & Commissioning Engineering, field groups, etc. to set the design and material standards and applications while ensuring safety, effectiveness, and constructability of standards.
* Perform assignments while acting independently and may lead multi-discipline teams.
* Provides recommendations for management and implements action plans to improve reliability.
* Provides detailed technical training, mentorship, peer review, and/or guidance to others.
* Interface with applicable industry groups such as IEEE, EPRI, EEI, MEA, etc. to introduce new design improvements and materials.
* Investigate common points of failure modes and trends for the purpose of material or design standard improvements as well as supporting the analysis of extent of condition
