_Hourly Wage $30.00 | Anticipated start date of May 2026_ The SCADA Engineer Intern will support Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) essential to the operation of the member distribution electric systems. **The Impact You Will Make in This Role:** **ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS** **:** **Mission Critical Support:** + Assist in maintenance and recovery of reliable operation of assigned systems that are used to operate mission critical functions. + Provide support for mission critical staff and systems. + Maintain technical knowledge of diagnostic and recovery procedures. + Conduct maintenance and support activities in a manner that maximizes the availability of critical functions. + Protect the integrity and security of data, controls, applications, systems and networks, in compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements and DPC policies. **SCADA/EMS Support:** + Assist with ongoing projects with operations, settlements, communications, engineering, member cooperatives, and other utility organizations. + Maintain distribution control system definitions for monitoring, control, logic, and user interfaces. + Verify integrity of all functions impacted by changes. **Application Administration Support:** + Assist primary application owners with support and troubleshooting of SCADA/EMS adjacent applications, including data archives, demand response, meter reading, and energy accounting. + Maintain application definitions to meet changing operational and user requirements. + Provide instruction to users and cross-train with peers.
