We have an immediate need for a Virtual Design Construction Engineer for our office in Fishers, IN.
Ideal candidate will have a College Degree in Construction Management, or similar discipline and at least one year of experience working in a related field of construction management in VDC/BIM role with an A/E/C firm (internships included). Accountable for project support of operational procedures specifically construction activities as it relates to project documentation, monitoring and coordination in such a way as to ensure scheduled completion of the projects within established budget, time, and quality standards. Analyzes design for assigned architectural, structural and MEP conversions to arrive at workable models and ensure constructability. Checks for quality and accuracy of models, extracts quantities, clash detection and resolution, analyzes scheduling and cost, resolves workforce conflicts and creates documentation and representations.
Minimum 5 years of work experience, including at least one-year Construction experience in similar role, including internships or as a craft professional. Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and presentation skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills and critical thinking skills. Basic knowledge of various Construction software including those pertaining to Project Management (Procore preferred), Microsoft Suite, Accounting (Sage preferred), Scheduling (Asta or Project preferred), Modeling (Revit) and PDF Editing (Bluebeam). Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, especially Word and Excel. Autodesk Software, Bluebeam, 3D virtual Software
