Work flexible hours that may include after-hours work, this could include nights and weekends. Performs the trenching, missile-bore, hand-hole placement, installation of fiber optic or Coax cable, restoration of area and inner duct/conduit, and related restoration. Locates other buried wiring/cabling Install underground telecommunications cabling. Flagging as needed (directing safe coordination of vehicles and equipment within public areas where work sites are active). Education, experience, and skills required: Prior experience with underground utility construction is preferred. Stand for long periods of time at the job site, watch for road traffic, pedestrians' safety, protect the public, equipment and employees. Perform other work-related duties as assigned and the ability to comprehend and execute instructions as provided. Ability to move and maneuver quickly to avoid danger. Ability to work in varying outdoor environments at all times of the year. Must be able to follow directions, maintain work quality, and maintain safe working conditions/habits.
