We are helping a local leading Fabric-Covered Buildings construction company in Northeast Iowa, add committed and reliable laborers. Our client has been in business for over 10 years and engage in dozens of projects across the Midwest. The majority of the projects are in Iowa, but they also venture into Minnesota, Nebraska, Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin. You will travel during the week and be home for your weekends. Work includes minor concrete work, wood post and I-beam foundations, steel frame erection, and other associated construction type tasks. Job General Details: Typical work days are from 6 am to 4:30 pm although there may be changes based upon project requirements. The typical work week consists of 40 hours but will flex to 60 hours during busy periods or as project schedules dictate. Typical work schedules are Monday-Friday. Crews meet at the shop near Clermont, IA daily or weekly as required and travel to and from the job-site via company truck. One way drive time is paid for travel from the shop to the job-site for non-prevailing wage projects. Travel Requirements: 40 to 50 weeks per year; Most construction crews will be on the job site up to a week at a time, but home most weekends.
