BECOMING OUR GENERAL CONSTRUCTION LABORER:
Schedule:
This is a full-time position, typically Monday-Friday between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Shifts vary based on project needs. You'll report to our central location each morning before heading out to jobs throughout Western and parts of Central NY. Occasional overnight travel may be required for fieldwork.
Day-to-Day:
As our General Construction Laborer, you'll be hands-on in every stage of the build-from organizing tools and loading equipment to maintaining clean, professional workspaces and assisting with everything from carpentry and site work to plumbing and masonry. You'll follow plans, meet building codes, communicate with clients, and document your progress through photos and records. Whether you're prepping materials, helping install a beautiful new feature, or just making the site run smoother, your role is vital to our success-and every day brings something new to master.
Qualifications:
1 year of trade experience on a construction site
Some experience in rough/finish carpentry, excavation/site work, towing/trailering, rough/finish plumbing, electrical, masonry, saw cutting, general remodeling (kitchen/baths), or general construction
Availability Monday through Friday
Physical ability to lift 80+ lbs and work outdoors year-round
Ability to read a tape measure

The ideal candidate has a strong background in precision carpentry and is capable of installing doors, windows, trim, flooring, molding, cabinetry, countertops, and more across commercial, residential, and industrial project environments. This role requires advanced craftsmanship, the ability to interpret complex blueprints, and a strong commitment to quality and safety.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Trim Installation
Install, measure, cut, and adjust all interior and exterior wood doors, including associated trim.
Install and adjust metal doors, knockdown frames, and related trim.
Install exterior windows, manufacturer sills, and related trim.
Measure, cut, and install chair rail, baseboard, shoe, casing, and crown molding with precision.
Cabinetry & Countertops
Layout, design, and install cabinets and vanities.
Layout, scribe, and install countertops with expert accuracy.
General Responsibilities
Perform additional skilled carpentry duties as assigned.

Ability to interpret and follow cabinet drawings, blueprints, and architectural layouts.

Must own and maintain required PPE and hand tools.
Proficiency with all relevant hand tools, power tools, and measuring tools.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with site personnel.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
