PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Perform general construction tasks involving physical labor at construction projects and plants. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, cleaning up rubble and debris.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Commercial Grade Division
Operate jackhammers, drills and other power tools as required.
Position, join, align, and seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections and pipes.
Shovel cement and other materials into portable cement mixers; and mix, pour, and spread concrete.
Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials.
Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces.
Attend to machines that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster or stucco through spray-guns for application to ceilings and walls.
Attend to pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment, or to heat and move materials such as asphalt.
Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools.
Apply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking guns.
Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones.
Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.
Load, unload building materials, machinery, and tools.
Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces.
Learn and follow safety regulations.
Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, and masons.
Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.
Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager.
Must have regular and predictable attendance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
Must have a valid NC Driver's License and a clean driving record.
Work Experience:
Good work ethic.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends if needed.
Outside work experience a plus.
Ability to work with hand tools and follow directions to accomplish work details.
Regular and predictable attendance a must.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to obtain a TWIC Card and meet the criteria for obtaining a military base pass.
Heavy Physical Demands:
Heavy physical effort required including pulling and lifting or moving heavy weight material with frequent lifting or moving materials or equipment (over 80 pounds). If a position specific Physical Demands sheet is attached, it will describe in more detail the physical demands that are required.
Physical Activity:
Position requires the ability to continuously work around any or all of the following: noise, dust, heat, cold, oil and heavy equipment. Personal protective equipment is normally required of the position. Job Summary
This is a General Labor position with multiple job duties essential to daily operations in the erosion control division for Greenrise Technologies. The Crew Member-Driver is responsible for completing the physical installation of silt fence, inlet protections, slope matting, and other erosion control services on both residential and commercial sites, along with driving a work truck to and from the worksite. Responsible for taking direction from the Crew Leader to complete work as assigned in the most efficient manner. You may utilize vehicles, hand tools, and some equipment to complete your work each day. We are also looking for more experienced individuals that could serve in a Crew Leader role, with a preference for clean driving records.
Duties & Functions
Go over the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
Assist with loading trucks with proper installation materials each morning.
Drive Company work truck to and from worksites, obeying traffic laws.
Represent Greenrise Technologies in a professional manner to customers and homeowners at all times.
Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence and Greenrise Technologies quality.
Follow all safety protocols pertaining to vehicles, equipment, or site conduct as instructed.
Install all erosion control products to the specifications of your crew leader's direction.
Communicate effectively with operations managers and fellow crew members.
Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew's silt fence installation output.

This is a pipeline requisition for future projects. The Construction Inspection Specialist documents inspection findings and communicates issues to project leadership. The role requires applying broad professional knowledge of construction practices to meet client needs, clearly communicating project progress and issues to diverse functional teams and project leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully, safely, and in compliance with applicable requirements. Work is performed independently under limited supervision.
Job Duties:
- Conducts on-site inspections of construction, rehabilitation, and maintenance projects as well as related civil structures (roads, dams, bridges, facilities, utilities, etc.) to verify compliance with approved design specifications, industry standards, safety codes, and applicable federal regulations.
- Documents inspection results inclusive of deficiencies, deterioration, structural condition, deviations between design and execution of construction, required corrective actions and any needed sampling.
- Review contractor submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and material certifications in coordination with engineers and project management teams.
- Monitors construction progress, prepares and maintains detailed daily reports, deficiency notices, project status reports, and technical recommendations.
- Inspects and verifies construction materials and testing processes (concrete breaks, compaction testing, welding/joint inspections, pressure testing, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
- Oversees and coordinates field construction related services on projects, enforcing adherence to safety, environmental, quality control, and permitting requirements
- Conducts site investigations, reviews relevant data including maps, reports, test results, drawings and others as required.
- Participates in pre-construction meetings, design reviews, technical assessments, safety meetings, and project closeout/punch list activities.

Supervisory responsibilities
* Serve as the primary supervisor for assigned Technicians in matters related to time and attendance, PTO requests, and performance reviews.
* Verify technician timecards for accuracy, address discrepancies, and ensure timely correction of any errors in coordination with HR or Payroll as needed.
* Collaborate closely with the assigned Serior Crew Lead to ensure proper communication and alignment regarding employee scheduling, shift coverage, and personnel updates.

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
