POSITIONS AVAILABLE: 2 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Perform general construction tasks involving physical labor at construction projects and plants. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Commercial Grade Division * Operate jackhammers, drills and other power tools as required. * Position, join, align, and seal structural components, such as concrete wall sections and pipes. * Shovel cement and other materials into portable cement mixers; and mix, pour, and spread concrete. * Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials. * Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco through hoses to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. * Attend to machines that pump concrete, grout, cement, sand, plaster or stucco through spray-guns for application to ceilings and walls. * Attend to pumps, compressors, and generators to provide power for tools, machinery, and equipment, or to heat and move materials such as asphalt. * Lubricate, clean, and repair machinery, equipment, and tools. * Apply caulking compounds by hand or using caulking guns. * Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards. * Control traffic passing near, in, and around work zones. * Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes. * Erect and disassemble scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures. * Load, unload building materials, machinery, and tools. * Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces. * Learn and follow safety regulations. * Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, and masons. * Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year. * Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager. * Must have regular and predictable attendance. Your main role as Foreman/Crew Lead will be to oversee and perform repair work scheduled by our team. You will be responsible for leading a team of 2-3 repair persons, providing exceptional service and an exceptional product to our customers. As a Crew Lead, you are our repair expert in moisture remediation, carpentry, and foundation work and leaned on heavily as such by our team(s). Who We're Looking For: The ideal candidate is someone who ... Has previous experience (preferably 5+ years) with construction and repair, most notably repairs in the crawl space, including structural repair (sills, girders, joists, subfloors, piers) and moisture remediation (interior drains, moisture barriers, dehumidification systems). Is able to manage crew members to perform necessary repairs for structural or moisture remediation. Has a valid Driver's License, is able to pass a DMV license check, and has reliable transportation to and from work Has a strong desire to reach and exceed set goals in all areas of the job. Has excellent people skills, and is professional in their interactions with both Customers (homeowners / B2B) and Coworkers. Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools; and be able to adhere to large amounts of standing, walking, squatting, sitting, crawling, and lifting. Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly.
