About the Role:
The Laborer position is a vital role responsible for supporting various manual tasks that contribute to the efficient operation of construction, manufacturing, or maintenance projects. The primary goal is to assist skilled tradespeople by preparing and maintaining work sites, handling materials, and ensuring safety standards are met. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions accurately to help complete projects on time and within quality standards. The Laborer will work closely with team members to facilitate smooth workflow and contribute to a productive and safe working environment. Ultimately, this position plays a key part in the successful execution of projects by providing essential support and maintaining operational readiness on site. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all on-site equipment, including but not limited to front-end loaders, forklifts, skid loaders and grinders. The position reports to the Operations Manager. Must be able to operate large pieces of equipment safely and effectively, and be able to self-perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues with the operating equipment.

Fuel, blow out air filters and radiators, and grease all points on equipment at the facility.

The Laborer uses physical strength and endurance daily to perform manual tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials essential for project progress. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are critical to maintaining a secure work environment and preventing accidents. Communication skills enable the Laborer to understand instructions from supervisors and coordinate effectively with team members. Pay:
Normal hours worked are 40-plus hours.

EXPERIENCED CONCRETE WORKER
Asbell Companies is currently seeking an experienced CONCRETE WORKER to join our team. Candidates will be responsible for forming, placing, and finishing concrete as well as performing other constructionrelated tasks as assigned.
Responsibilities
Placement of flatwork as well as vertical concrete
Spread, vibrate, screed, and float concrete to ensure that concrete is compacted to desired consistency and surface is finished to specified uniformity and smoothness
Ability to work without close supervision once directed on task
Obeys and follows all safety rules on the job site and encourages others to do the same
Maintains a good relationship with co-workers and works well with others to accomplish a task.
Must be able to read blueprints, perform layout and understand testing and curing of concrete
Must be highly motivated, fast paced, a self-starter who is detailed oriented and organized.
Maintains efficient jobsite through team members performance and the preparation and use of tools and equipment
Working knowledge of Local, State, and OSHA safety requirements and guidelines
An extensive knowledge of Concrete construction plans specification and shop drawings associated with concrete not limited to reinforcing, form work, embed, anchor bolts, etc.
Requirements:
Verifiable work history
Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen
Reliable transportation is mandatory
Job Site varies
BNSF, eRail, OSHA-10 Hour Construction, and other safety training, may obtain upon hire.
Lifting 50-70 pounds frequently along with frequent climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling
Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
Working at heights may be required
Temporary travel may be required for projects out of town

Position Summary:
* The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensure Crew tasks are fully executed at site.
* Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
* Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
* Ensure Crew members understand and are knowledgeable of their responsibilities under each policy.
* The Crew Lead collaborates with Crew to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations and resolve deficiencies in a timely manner,
* The Crew Lead assists Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
* Ensure team members have the information and tools to do their jobs effectively; provide clarity and support team members' success.
* May assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with interviews and training
* The Crew Lead motivates the crew; interacts regularly with crew members to provide support and clarity and leads by example.
Requirements:
* Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
* 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and safe handling for chemicals sheets/documents (generally in English; may have in Spanish where state required)
* Ability to follow OSHA requirements, safety guidelines, and forklift instructions.
* Customer Service oriented, friendly, and positive demeanor with the ability to motivate team members and support customer requests in an orderly and timely manner.
* KBS utilizes the KBSPresence mobile timekeeping software for accurate recording of employee work hours, attendance management, completion of required training, and distribution of important employment-related information. All non-exempt employees are required to download and use the KBSPresence app on their personal mobile devices to clock in and out for their shifts and breaks. In accordance with applicable local laws, cell phone reimbursement is provided to support the use of personal devices for work-related tasks.
