Qualifications and Education Requirements Completion of an apprenticeship or journeyman program in bricklaying or masonry. 5+ years of experience as a bricklayer or mason in a construction environment. Proficiency in measuring, cutting, and laying masonry materials with precision. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in bricklaying.
