Monday through Friday schedule. $22/hr to $25/hr based on experience. Precast concrete plant team members are responsible for performing a variety of tasks and duties in a safe and productive manner to produce precast concrete products in accordance with quality standards. See what we are all about (click on this video link): ************************************************** Responsibility Prepares precast forms for manufacturing concrete products. Prepares molds for stripping by opening or removing forms from hardened concrete. Clean, prepare and set up molds for use as required in production. Fabricate reinforcement cages. Place and secure reinforcement in various precast concrete forms. Layout and secure embeds, knockouts, etc. Place and finish concrete into various precast forms. Carpentry skills of all levels Other Duties Housekeeping - maintain a clean work area. Expected to maintain knowledge of precast plant techniques and procedures. Delegate tasks as deemed necessary. Understanding of hand tools, mechanical skills are a plus. Characteristics Always committed to safety. Maintain a safe work area. Follow safe work practices as outlined in the Safety Program. Always committed to quality. Follow and implement quality control measures. Excellent attendance. Ability to learn, organize and prioritize work and handle multiple tasks. Outstanding attitude, honesty, and ethic at all times. Expected to use sound judgment, diplomacy, and discretion. Work independently or cooperatively with others. Self-drive in carrying out the functions of the job. Communicate well both verbally and in writing. Physical Demands Ability to stand/bend/stretch/reach/kneel/crawl, etc. Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time throughout work shift. Must be able to work with heights up to 10 feet. Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.
