Qaqaq Construction is seeking a General Laborer to support various physical tasks on construction sites. Responsibilities include site preparation and cleanup, trench digging, scaffolding setup, demolition, and debris removal. May operate a range of hand and power tools such as air hammers, tampers, cement mixers, hoists, and measuring instruments. This position may also assist skilled trades and perform other duties as assigned.
**Responsibilities**
Essential functions will include:
+ Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
+ Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures.
+ Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and machinery to appropriate locations.
+ Measure, mark, and record layout dimensions for construction activities.
+ Operate pumps, compressors, or generators to power tools, equipment, or move materials.
+ Mix, pour, and spread concrete using portable cement mixers.
+ Control and direct traffic around work zones.
+ Dig trenches or ditches, backfill excavations, and compact or level earth using hand and pneumatic tools.

At times our apprentices get wet and dirty, work in attics, and basements with sewage. We provide appropriate personal protection equipment, but our apprentices cannot be afraid of getting dirty. It can be hard, yet rewarding work as we help people get back in their homes and businesses.
Everyone starts as an entry level restoration apprentice but the best apprentices can rise up to senior lead technician position. Our top senior lead technician have a total compensation package over $60,000 per year.
Appearance is very important, we need to make homeowners feel comfortable. Strict uniform standards must be adhered to; PuroClean provides all uniform items and provides a stipend for new boots annually.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
The Production Assembler performs assigned tasks that include, but are not limited to, producing architectural shapes, EIFS wall components, and exterior panel systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Follows the daily production schedule set by the Production Supervisor.
Hand applies adhesive mesh to parts.
Mixes base coats and finishes with an electric drill and paddle.
Works as part of a team to run parts through extrusion equipment.
Assembles and pours mold for cast stone.
Trims parts with cutting equipment.
Assists in building custom crates based on project specifications.
Prepares and organizes parts for shipment.
Assists with shipping and receiving.
Follows all safety requirements.
Cleans equipment after use and assists the team with keeping production space clean and organized.
Assists with monthly inventory counts.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
No formal educational requirement.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
No prior experience or training.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Incumbent must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, balance, kneel, talk, hear, and lift up to 50 lbs.
BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:
The hourly rate for applicants in this position generally ranges between $19.55 and $22.00. This range is an estimate, based on potential employee qualifications, operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
