May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris, remove asbestos, lead, and other hazardous waste materials if appropriately trained and certified. Duties and responsibilities:  Lead, manage, educate and hold accountable Construction Installers.  Knowledge HVAC installation and best practices for new installation and retro fit projects  Knowledge of installation of ductwork, exhaust fans, and HVAC Systems  Knowledge of HVAC hand tools used for trade  Ensure installation crews show up with personal protective gear  Monitor address jobsite safety concerns, bring to Superintendents attention and notify Solace Field Superintendent of any concerns  Comfortability working from ladders, lifts and scaffolding in a safe manner  Ability to draft RFI's (Request for information) as they are needed for specific jobs  Basic knowledge of the refrigerant cycle and electricity  Ability to read and perform material takes offs from blue prints  Ability to accurately field measure, cut materials to appropriate length and size  Ability to effectively communicate with others  Personal time keeping/time log and that of onsite installation crew  Ability to effectively lead and manage installation crews  Personal job safety Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in HVAC service and install with a demonstrable thorough understand of most HVAC equipment. Working conditions: This is a 40 hour per week, full-time positions. Daily job hours fluctuate but are generally around M-F 7:00AM to 3:30PM with a 30 minute daily lunch break. This position does require occasional overtime and weekend work. Overtime and weekend work hours are dependent on customer need and are to be preapproved. Physical requirements: This is a physically demanding position which requires lifting items of 50lbs or more by yourself. This position will often need to lift heavy tools and materials around rooftops and/or job sites. Foreman work in high temperature situations regularly (100+ degrees Fahrenheit) in summer months.
