Job Summary: As a Concrete Laborer, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation, pouring, and finishing of concrete for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn and work collaboratively with a team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation of job sites, including grading, excavation, and formwork setup. Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to specifications. Use hand and power tools to shape, smooth, and finish surfaces as directed. Prepare and position concrete forms to ensure proper alignment. Manage and maintain tools and equipment in a safe and clean condition. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Load and unload materials, and assist in the transport of tools and equipment. Maintain a good communication flow with team members and supervisors. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed. Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisors or foremen. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in concrete work or construction labor is a plus but not required. Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions. The apartment buildings are 4 and 5 story concrete and steel construction buildings. Our SAM Homes division will be starting construction on 3 custom homes located in Paradise Valley. Job relocation for out of state applicants is available. Job Summary: The masonry bricklayer is responsible for the construction, repair, and maintenance of structures made from bricks, blocks, and stones. This includes laying bricks and other materials to build walls, partitions, and other structural elements according to specifications and blueprints. Duties/Responsibilities: Lay bricks, blocks, and stones according to blueprints, specifications, and construction plans. Measure and mark guidelines for accurate bricklaying. Use tools such as levels, plumb bobs, and string lines to ensure precision. Operate and maintain masonry tools and equipment, including trowels, chisels, and mixers. Requirements: 5+ years of proven experience as a bricklayer. Proficiency in masonry techniques. Valid Drivers License Physical Requirements: Ability to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks. Able to stand and walk project site for extended period of times. Regularly talk and/or hear. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel.
