Ensures familiarity with contract documents with assigned site personnel. Maintains positive working environment for entire site team. Responsible for the entire drawing/submittal process, including: reviews, mark up, and approval within project management software. Documents historical information to include daily reports, photos, punch lists, inspections, RFIs, and safety walks in the construction management software. Oversees process for creating meeting agenda/minutes for foreman meetings within project management software. Leads punch list efforts with documentation housed within project management software. Maintains accurate and up to date as-builts in paper format. Performs preconstruction plan reviews and creates project constructability logs. Requirements Minimum five years of project superintendent experience on projects ranging from $500,000 to $15 million, including restaurant, retail, bank, health care, multifamily, and remodel projects. Bachelor s degree in construction management, construction engineering or equivalent experience required. Proficient in Microsoft Project scheduling software. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial building construction activities. Strong knowledge of OSHA, federal, state, municipal and project-specific safety regulations; OSHA 10 hour certified preferred. Must possess a valid driver s license and must be bondable. Must have proof of liability insurance for same. Must remain alert at all times to perform essential functions of the position. Collaborate with architects, engineers, building departments, and third-party testing firms. Maintain daily documentation and photo records of on-site progress. Description The Senior Superintendent is responsible for the overall leadership, planning, and coordination of the construction project. Working closely with Project Managers and with safety and quality always at the forefront, this position will oversee all site staff and sub-contractors to effectively manage the daily on-site activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the contract, schedule, and budget. In this role you may be required to travel up to 100% of the time.Responsibilities: Record and maintain information and produce reports such as personnel, production, project logs, status and other operational data. Coordinate and manage daily field operational objectives, timelines, and goals. Read construction documents to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures. Manage the safety of a job site by actively walking the site, participating in inspections, training and meeting with staff and subcontractors regularly. Monitor the overall progress of a project and work site, review processes and practices within teams to ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality of delivery. Mentor and develop employees.
