Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and driven Construction Project Manager to lead commercial interior, tenant fit-out, and ground-up construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Project permitting process determination and coordination to begin and complete projects as expeditiously as possible.
Identify the subcontractors to be used (based on quality work and reasonable costs), conduct all contract negotiations with subcontractors, and clarify their scope of work and costs.
Execute subcontractor agreements and forward them to accounting for handling.
Track and coordinate submittals for approval by the design staff, ensuring design intent, contractual compliance, and schedule integrity.
Regularly prepare reports detailing schedule progression, cost control & budget adherence, and client satisfaction to management.
Ensure, along with Project Superintendent, the timely delivery of construction materials, safety adherence, schedule, and quality control. Support owners as ‘point-of-contact' between them and field personnel in ways that build relationships that foster trust and lead to future work.
Maintain all relevant project logs and documentation and distribute them to all stakeholders to facilitate the construction process.
Inspect work at sites for compliance with the contract terms and specs, and review punch lists.
QUALIFICATIONS
Must have 5-10 years of related experience or a combination of education and training in the construction, architecture, or engineering fields.
MS Word and Excel expertise.
Expertise with project management and scheduling software.
CM and/or PMP certification is a plus.

Detailed knowledge of higher authority maintenance requirements and quality assurance procedures as well as a thorough understanding of the requirements of the Joint Fleet Maintenance Manual (JFMM) for conduct of submarine availabilities, work package development, and system test requirements
Detailed knowledge of Electric Boat's Non-Destructive Test (NDT) program and Submarine maintenance NDT requirements
Have a detailed knowledge of DFSs, LARs, UACSs, and DRs, and ensure they are submitted when required IAW NSSF processes and procedures.
Experience using WISP
Experience using ATIS
Previous government/military/DoD qualifications including QA Craftsman, QA Work Center Supervisor, QA Division Officer, Planning and Estimating Officer, QA Inspector, QA Supervisor, QA Officer
Skills
In addition to the above, candidate must possess the skill to present ideas clearly, persuasively and logically, both orally and in writing, in order to communicate and modify or implement new planning processes, procedures and techniques.
Candidate must delegate tasks and possess sound judgement and decision making skills to facilitate timely planning efforts for short and long term goals.
The selected individual must be able to work effectively with management and working levels of other divisions and departments, and with fleet activities as necessary to identify, recommend and plan alternate short term solutions, and formulate and implement long term plans and have strong computer skills.

As our Superintendent, you'll lead integrated planning and field coordination for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems from preconstruction through turnover. Your Role
1. Leadership & Coordination:

3. Operational Excellence:
Guide, expedite, and administer systems management to maintain budget, safety, schedule, and quality, while resolving major project issues and coordinating with all stakeholders.
4. Strategic Project Delivery:
Drive project communications, meetings, risk identification, and strategic planning; execute systems startup, testing, inspections, commissioning, and training to exceed client expectations.
5. Talent Development:
Mentor and develop assistant PMs, assistant superintendents, and project engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence within the team.
