Qualifications & Competencies Experience & Knowledge Minimum 7+ years of superintendent experience on luxury or high-end residential projects. Proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and at the highest quality level. Deep familiarity with custom residential construction methods, finishes, and sequencing. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Technical Proficiency Strong understanding of local building codes, DOB/permit processes, and inspection protocols. Experience with construction management software (Procore, MS Project). OSHA 30 Certification required; additional safety training preferred. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Project Construction with a focus on labor productivity, performance of work per drawings, engineering specifications, schedule, and workmanship. Verify direct labor and material quantities installed, safety issues, and clarification between construction trades and engineering. Track construction field progress versus the schedule and communicate concerns to PC's and assist in the development of recovery or contingency plans if needed. The Project Superintendent for Mechanical Construction is a hands-on leader responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of complex mechanical systems across plumbing, piping, and sheet metal scopes. From mobilization through closeout, you'll oversee field crews, coordinate subcontractors, ensure safety compliance, and drive schedule performance on commercial and industrial projects. Keep proper and complete documentation of project, in accordance with RK Mechanical, Inc.'s standard systems and available for inspection. Qualifications Indirect supervision.
