We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of large-scale civil construction projects, including dam, and water infrastructure projects. Essential Functions

Position Summary
The Manager of Project Controls will lead a team responsible for managing project controls for Electric Distribution, Transmission and/or Substation Projects for the Electric Operations Portfolio Delivery team. This leader will manage a diverse team of Supervisors and Project Controls Analysts across the PG&E service territory in the cost, schedule and scope management in support of the larger EO Portfolio Delivery team and EO Projects and Construction organization, and ensure the team adheres and aligns to Project Management best practices and standards of work.
The leader must be forward thinking, able to manage change effectively given the task of unifying multiple functional areas toward a standard of work, able to collaborate and communicate effectively with numerous stakeholders across PG&E to drive progress and continue the development of waste elimination and process improvement initiatives. PG&E is providing the salary range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed towards the middle or entry point of the range, the decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to these factors.
A reasonable salary range is:

Key Responsibilities
Manages overall operations and is jointly responsible for project success, including profitability, safety, schedule, quality and client satisfaction.

Assist Estimating with production rates, means & methods and form system selection.

Qualifications
10-15 years of field experience as a foreman/superintendent actively in the field.
Additional 5-8 years in a supervisory capacity managing multiple foreman/superintendents on multiple projects.
Excellent communication, organizational, and supervisory skills are essential.
Proficient in heavy civil construction methods, scheduling, cost control procedures, general contract/conditions, subcontract documents, drawings, specifications and safety

MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience (4 years as Assistant Superintendent)
• Extensive field construction experience at supervisory level
• Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification, or achievement of STS Certification within six months of hire, maintenance of active certification status
• Working knowledge of all crafts (ability to read and understand specifications for all trades), and prior experience as foreman or journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer
• Knowledge of OSHA laws
• Knowledge of job scheduling, planning, expediting and cost control
