Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze documentation provided by Estimating, including the bid estimate, contracts, design plans, specifications, schedules, logistics plans, proposals, and quotations.
Identify foreseeable project risks and opportunities; monitor and update as the project progresses.
In coordination with the Project Manager, prepare a preliminary project schedule and corresponding budget based on an estimate and input from the Superintendent and Foremen.
Export the estimate to TRACK and establish initial cost-tracking accounts.
Actively coordinate with the Client to obtain the Client's concurrence with Bali's project schedule.
In coordination with the Project Manager, schedule, organize, and conduct a Bali interdepartmental Project Kick-Off meeting to coordinate company-wide efforts for assigned projects; set goals and expectations for supporting departments' efforts, including finance and accounting, labor compliance and payroll, yard operations, logistics, safety, and purchasing.
Coordinate with the purchasing and Bali contracting managers to negotiate and procure all materials, subcontractors, and outside services per Bali procurement standards.
During Construction
Coordinate with Superintendents and other technical staff to develop work plans to meet or exceed budget goals.
Actively coordinate with the Client to ensure optimal field conditions for Bali's scope.
Assist the field team in developing safe work practices, job hazard analysis, researching, and communicating safety requirements and regulations.
Inspect and supervise project safety program; identify and manage hazards with the field team.
Actively participate in incident review meetings.
Identify impacts and changes; ensure Bali's impact notification process is followed to reserve Bali's right to pursue equitable compensation, develop cost, and schedule recovery plans as necessary.
Prepare and negotiate cost estimates for forward-priced lump-sum change orders, and negotiate a final settlement for time-and-material change orders.
Directly or by staff assignment, review and approve project expenses (invoices), and coordinate corrections where needed.
Review active project productions and labor hours weekly; identify trends and, with project team members, develop recovery plans to address shortfalls and capitalize on opportunities.
In coordination with the project manager, review project costs and update forecasted costs to complete estimates monthly.
In coordination with the project manager, prepare quarterly costs to complete estimates and participate in cost review meetings.
Post Construction
Develop a project closeout task checklist, assign duties to project team members, and support Bali departments, including finance and accounting, labor compliance, and payroll.
In coordination with the Project Manager, negotiate final settlement to time and material change orders.
Ensure all required closeout tasks are performed promptly to enable the final release of retention and commencement of warranty.
Prepare content for and actively participate in joint operations, and conduct estimating reviews of project successes and opportunities for future improvement.
Experience, Education & Skills
Bachelor's degree in constructionmanagement, Civil Engineering, or related field; or equivalent combination of skill, ability, and experience
Preferred five years of experience in managing heavy civil, commercial, or underground utility projects
Proficient in SAGE 300, Windows 10, Office 365, Bluebeam, and B2W

You Have:
Six years of project management/constructionmanagement in hospitality, commercial, and industrial construction.

Knowledge of project accounting, estimating, scheduling, budgeting, document management, best value contracting, contract management and cost forecasting.
Knowledge of construction materials, methods and techniques. Familiarity with all construction applicable codes, i.e., UBC, NEC & UFC.
Ability to prepare presentations for department management review that drive related decisions.
Outstanding attention to detail and organization skills, as well as problem solving skills.
Leadership experience: You will be expected to manage and mentor an early career project manager. You could be expected to mentor participants from our Professional Intern Program.
