**ABOUT THE ROLE**
As a Manufacturing & Construction Project Manager at Cupertino Electric, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Modular projects and the successful management of a high-performing team. You will manage the planning, execution, and financial performance of your projects using business practices that are consistent with our company values - people, safety, integrity, innovation, and excellence. + Manage and lead projects and project teams successfully from qualification, through estimate, pre-construction, production, and closeout. Ensure all project and contractual agreements are met and performed safely and professionally within established budgets and timeframes.
+ Establish project execution plan and provide scheduling and coordination for each project. Collaborate with product development and production teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule.
+ Identify project risks and potential issues. Develop and execute recovery action plans.

You have experience with union workforces and labor rate calculations. You will play a crucial role in managing day-to-day operations and administrative duties on-site, ensuring the successful construction of projects ranging from 1 to 2.5 MW.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily operations and administrative duties on-site.
* Report progress and safety updates daily to the Senior Construction Manager.
* Oversee sub-vendors and collaborate with their foremen.
* Enforce safety and regulatory policies and procedures.
* Set daily and weekly productivity standards for contractors and subcontractors.
* Develop a 3-week look-ahead schedule and coordinate with the Senior Construction Manager to ensure timelines are met.
* Coordinate equipment deliveries with the logistics team and subcontractors.
* Review project plans and specifications daily.
Essential Skills
* Experience in construction management, ideally in commercial electrical or civil projects.
* Technical degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or extensive construction management experience.
* Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
* Experience managing sub-vendors.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PDF, Word, and Excel.
* OSHA 10 certification.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Solar experience is a major plus.
* Experience as an electrician or in electrical work.
* OSHA 30 certification (assistance with obtaining may be available for strong candidates).
Work Environment
This role is based on a solar construction site located across central and northwest Illinois, with a company trailer as the main office. You will work alongside various electrical and civil subcontractors. The standard workweek is Monday to Friday, with typical construction hours from 7 AM to 3:30 PM. Overtime must be approved by a supervisor and is not commonly required. The dress code is construction attire, including jeans and a t-shirt with proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
