ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Have an extensive knowledge of precast concrete components and the erection process of a precast project. Supervise the installation process on the job site. Assist Field Operations Manager with conducting early jobsite visits to coordinate start date, crane & truck access, and project concerns with client. Determine the proper installation sequence based on the site and precast production schedule to work efficiently Complete PCI field audit paperwork and submit in a timely manner. Follow the bracing procedures and job specific plan on every project. Complete special projects as requested and perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED Minimum 5 years of precast erection experience preferred. 10 years of field construction experience considered. Bachelor s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred. OSHA 30 Hour training required (will be provided). Must have interpersonal communication skills to interact with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and customers. Familiarity with OSHA regulations. Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and precast construction drawings necessary. Proven ability to plan field projects and direct employees. Ability to read and understand crane charts. Knowledge of survey equipment. Must be motivated and self-driven to complete a task. Ability to build erection sequence of precast members. Ability to properly size and locate a crane for most efficient erection of precast. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Office suite required. Possession of a valid driver s license, and the ability to operate a motor vehicle. Verify the accuracy of packing lists and transfer all paperwork to the Admin Department and Project Managers. • Record and send completed Daily Progress Reports and photos to project specific recipients each day utilizing the proper software (Procore). • Review and analyze cost reports and labor hours information regularly with Project Managers for accuracy and budget forecasting. • Attend Project Kick-Off and Close-Out meetings to assure all the project information is disseminated and returned properly such as project contacts, contracts, cost coding, project documentation, logistics, plans, hourly studies, Sub-contractor performance, etc. • Attend company production and safety meetings, typically once a month.
