The MEP Superintendent is responsible for the overall field planning, coordination, and supervision of all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing scopes of work. The primary goal is to ensure that all MEP systems are installed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, in accordance with the contract documents and project specifications. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Coordination and Management: Manage and coordinate all MEP subcontractors, vendors, and trades on-site. Develop, maintain, and manage the MEP critical path schedule, including coordinating equipment and material deliveries. Review and interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and submittals for completeness and constructability, coordinating with the design team to resolve discrepancies. Lead the MEP coordination process, including resolving clashes and conflicts identified in coordinated documents (e.g., BIM). Organize and conduct regular coordination meetings with subcontractors. 2. Quality Control and Commissioning: Implement and manage the quality control (QC) process for all MEP system construction. Manage the startup and pre-testing of mechanical and electrical systems.
