Develop, submit and maintain an overall reclamation / site plan for management. Requisition, order and maintain stock inventory of essential fuels, lubricants, oils and equipment and plant wear parts. Communicate and coordinate with shop personnel on all repairs; document all repairs. Lead weekly safety toolbox discussions with employees over pertinent safety topics applicable to the task, location or equipment / plant hazards inherent to the operation. Other duties as assigned by management. Follow all company policies Qualifications Must pass a drug screen and criminal background check. 3+ years' supervisory experience in aggregate mining operations with a general understanding of blasting, crushers, screens, conveyors, and associated processing equipment. Experience with quality control procedures and sufficient understanding of the process changes required to obtain and sustain product gradations. Must maintain a safe driving record and have a valid driver's license. CDL a plus. Flexibility to work various schedules although typically day shift will be required. Strong work ethic; excellent leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Will be required to complete MSHA certification. General working knowledge of iPad and iPhone applications and functionality. Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills. Good math skills including ability to figure stockpile volumes, conveyor belt speeds, sheave speeds, etc. Good mechanical aptitude. Ability to work near, around or on light or heavy equipment. Must be willing to relocate if necessary. Required Skills Regular, reliable attendance at the worksite or assigned work location. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Education High school diploma or general education degree (GED); OR One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
