We are seeking experienced Construction Managers to independently oversee, manage, and coordinate medium to high complexity Federal construction projects from planning through final delivery. Projects may include both vertical (buildings, facilities, utilities) and horizontal (civil, infrastructure, airfields, roadways) construction with agencies such as USACE, AFCEC, and NAVFAC. This position is a pipeline requisition for future project assignments supporting upcoming Federal contracts.
Job Duties:
- Plan, direct, and manage all phases of Federal construction projects to ensure successful execution in accordance with project scope, budget, and schedule.
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of contractors, subcontractors, and on-site personnel to maintain quality, safety, and compliance with contractual and technical requirements.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Federal government client's construction branch, project stakeholders, and contractors, maintaining effective communication and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and evaluate construction documents, including safety plans, QC plans, design drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, RFIs, and technical reports, ensuring alignment with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), client-specific design standards, and applicable codes.
- Lead and participate in pre-construction conferences, design and progress meetings, on-site inspections, and project closeout activities, including development and management of punch lists.
- Ensure that all construction activities are executed in accordance with federal safety, environmental, and quality standards, including agency-specific requirements.
- Track project performance metrics, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely, cost-effective, and compliant project delivery.
- Mentor and train junior staff, fostering technical growth and promoting adherence to company and industry best practices in construction management.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and official correspondence for submission to federal agencies.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety across all project sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, USACE, and agency-specific safety standards.

About the Role
The position is responsible for all activities at the construction site, including providing a safe and productive work environment, maintaining schedules, and ensuring projects stays within budgetary limits set forth by the estimate.
Candidates must have verifiable work experience as a superintendent, with additional construction experience required. Must understand schedules and be able to complete projects on time and on budget by tracking variances and cost projections. Superintendents must have a proven track record supervising and coordinating all personnel including subcontractors and materials to prevent delays. Candidate selected must be highly motivated. Bachelor's Degree in construction management or equivalent required. Drug screen, physical and criminal background check is required of successful candidates.
Essential Responsibilities:
Organizes, coordinates, and supervises the work of the assistant superintendent, field engineers, craft employees, and all subcontractors on construction projects. Acts as an adviser to the owner, design team, and all tradesmen associated with the project.
Determines work priorities, and coordinates work activities with all necessary parties to ensure that the project remains efficient and on schedule.
Oversees the terms and conditions of construction contracts.
Apportions work among employees and subcontractors according to project needs and coordinates work so that it maintains a smooth flow among the various trades.
Introduces new trades to the projects as the project requires them and collaborates with management of the various trades to ensure the work is carried out in a manner consistent with the project plans and specifications.
Provides a safe work environment through creating a culture of safety for the project and holding each individual on the project accountable for safe behavior. Regularly holds safety meetings and makes sure that the company's safety policies are being enforced.
Works as a liaison to the owner and coordinates plans and construction activities with the owner.
Sources material suppliers for consumables required to construct the project and estimates materials required for specific jobs. Orders materials and coordinates deliveries of materials to coincide with construction progress. Ensures that the materials for construction are on the project site as they are required and are stored in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations. Coordinates materials staging are as between the various trades and monitors material deliveries.
Maintains inventory and control over the projects tools, materials, equipment, and security.
Writes and maintains a project's daily record in detail through daily reports. Communicates those reports to the office on a daily basis.
Holds, at minimum, weekly coordination meetings between all subcontractors who are currently on site and any that will be on site in the near future. Coordinates work flows, safety, environmental concerns, manpower requirements, materials requirements and overall schedule through these meetings.
Is responsible for the overall project schedule. Writes and maintains short term interval schedules for the use and review of all trades on the project. Included are all phases of work that are current and applicable. Maintains overall project schedule through implementation of the short term interval schedule.
Is responsible for quality control on the project: holds all works accountable for adherence to the project plans and specifications. Holds pre-installations meetings to review installation procedures for all major materials used and has a thorough understanding of the project specifications and industry standards for installation of all materials to be used. Pre-installation meetings include manufacturers representatives, required design team members, affected subcontractors, and if necessary the owners representative. Assures that the work adheres to the project plans, specifications, codes, and other governmental agencies requirements. Coordinates inspections and insures that testing is being performed per the contract documents.
Maintains project budget through management of all labor associated with the project. Tracks and monitors the labor force for productivity .
Manages company and rental equipment for maximum productivity and minimum cost.
Keeps accurate record of time for employees, accurately codes the time to the tasks completed and reports time to the office in a timely manner.
Coordinates and facilitates the closeout of the project. Is responsible to assure that all punch list items are completed in a timely manner and that the owner is satisfied with both the quality and timeliness of the project as it is completed.
Maintains a good relationship with the project manager and works as a team to complete the project.
Act as a mentor for subordinates and regularly reviews their performance and makes recommendations for improvements and wage adjustments.

FRM will collaborate with case manager on average of 4/month and ad hoc as needed for escalations. These interactions are tracked in FRM CRM and hub system.
Responsible for setting up appointments and completing outbound calls to targeted offices. Assist in completing backlog casework. Additional day-to-day in-office work. Interface with physicians and manufacturer representatives to obtain and provide patient and provider specific information. All FRM interactions/activities are tracked in FRM CRM which are reportable to management and client.
Monitor program performance for physicians and manufacturer representatives in accordance with expectations. Territory performance will be monitored via FRM CRM dashboard daily. Minimum Job Qualifications -

Superintendent
Construction manager job in Springfield, MO
Purpose: Project Superintendent is responsible for the timely completion of assigned project(s) and ensuring project is constructed in strict accordance with plans and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule • Own execution of project milestones; partner with and communicate progress and challenges to Project Manager.
• Drive short term schedule (3-week look ahead) and tie back to milestones; distribute to subcontractors at weekly meetings.
• Identify and drive critical path items, pertaining to overall schedule end date.
• Work with Field Operations Manager for manpower needs for critical path items.
• Partner with Project Manager to plan and communicate project phasing and deadlines.
Production/Quality Control
• Drive overall quality control from start to close out.
• Partner with estimator/preconstruction from start through project completion to understand how the project was estimated to maximize production.
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; look for ways to improve and promote quality; monitor own work to ensure quality.
• Meets and works to beat productivity standards; completes work in a timely manner.
• Direct labor, equipment, and subcontractors through project completion.
• Coordinate and direct work in the field to ensure work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications.
Planning/Cost Management/Manhours
• Collaborate with project manager on overall job cost estimate.
• Watch overall manhours and associated costs compared to estimate.
• Proactively work with warehouse personnel to schedule and return equipment.
• Proactively plan work to ensure project deadlines are met in accordance with
Safety
• Adhere to OSHA/company safety requirements; create and maintain a safe work environment and hold team accountable to maintain high safety standards.
• Adopt and drive practice of all safety policies and procedures, and lead by example.
Leadership
• Maintain professional appearance, including jobsite and crews.
• Model appropriate and professional behaviors, attitudes, and actions.
• Facilitate teamwork and harmony between all construction crews by promoting and fostering a positive attitude.
Qualifications/Experience:
• At least five years superintendent experience with a focus on commercial. Heavy civil construction a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Strong organizational, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• OSHA 30 Hour required
• Experience managing self-performed work, a plus.
