The Construction Manager must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas: Operation and use of survey equipment, nuclear density gauges, and materials testing devices Practical computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and all construction management software platforms utilized by the Department Additionally, the Construction Manager must be capable of: Performing constructability and bidability reviews, along with cost and schedule evaluations Supervising, coordinating, and directing construction personnel and work crews Reviewing and interpreting roadway and bridge plans, specifications, and contractual documents Preparing clear and accurate technical, financial, administrative, and explanatory correspondence Effectively managing tasks, priorities, and time to meet project objectives Minimum & Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
