Construction Manager - Cellular New Site Builds The Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing all Civil Works and associated financial controls, including scheduling, service provider (SP/ASP) management, and quality assurance for cellular new site builds. This role ensures compliance with Ericsson standards, processes, and procedures, as well as all federal and local regulations. The Construction Manager is also responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Key Interfaces External: ASP/SP, Customer PM Internal: IM Lead, Project Admin, Project Sponsor, CPM Responsibilities Assess and control charges related to the agreed site design. Ensure that: Only customer-approved materials are installed on the project. Civil Works guidelines and schedules are followed and enforced. Attend coordination and progress meetings. Manage material orders, returns, and claims. Maintain and update construction-related documentation in Site Handler, including: Statement of Work (SOW) and preconstruction documents (NTP, RFDS, safety guidance, QA standards, etc.). NTP receipt verification. RFDS submission review and modifications. Civil acceptance document review, submission, and approval. Daily Civil Works progress PFA verification. Closeout document review and approval. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum of 5 years of experience in job-related project builds of 500+ sites. Strong knowledge and experience in safety and work environment regulations. Required Training/Certifications The supplier must ensure that personnel have the necessary qualifications and certifications before starting work, including: OSHA 30 RF Awareness CPR/First Aid Ergonomics Training (including required refresher courses) The supplier is responsible for tracking and covering up to 40 hours of training per 12-month period, including training fees, travel expenses, and compensable travel time. Ericsson will cover time spent in required weekly safety meetings and any additional training pre-approved by the Resource Manager.

Maintains effective relationships with other functional departments. Develops, implements, and administers a job-site security plan and coordinates the activities with Clayco's security department. Works with the project management team to participate in all job-site's contractual activities. Participates in contracts and subcontracts negotiations. Participates in the development and implementation of a training program to ensure subordinate personnel receives progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities and is responsible for overall development of construction training and any testing as required. Works with Clayco's safety team in the development of the project safety program and ensures strict adherence to Company, federal, state, and local safety regulations. Ensures the implementation of an effective community relations plan for the site. Ensures required permits and licenses are in place prior to the start of the affected work at site. Responsible and accountable for construction license reporting to include construction Logbook entries and required notifications for permit closure. Partners with the project management team for the implementation of cost savings methodologies in the Construction organization and the promotion of other continuous improvement processes. Ensures development and execution of strategies and plans for project automation, environmental compliance, safety, site surveying, non-manual staffing, contracting, labor strategy, construction execution, and job-site work rules. Plans and establishes procedures to ensure construction operations meet engineering designs and specifications. Coordinate with the Field Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions. Support Superintendent(s) throughout the duration of the job. Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman. Document project field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule, and provide to the project management team. Ensure subcontractor requests for field issues that impact budget, quality, or schedule are documented and are forwarded to the project management team. Follow guidelines of the Project Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) program written for the job site. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, related technical degree or relevant work experience in lieu of education. 20-25 years of relevant experience, with progressive responsibility and technical knowledge both scope and value of project. Technical knowledge and experience of relevant construction methods and systems including: Utility relocates and slope stability works. Full understanding of multiple mission critical platforms. Full understanding and working knowledge of high voltage, medium voltage, and low voltage systems. General understanding of BMS and EPMS Systems. Full understanding and coordination of Utility relocations, underground medium voltage systems, and BIM modeling coordination of ALL utilities both above and below ground. Full understanding and managing of all LOTO procedure's and FOD inspections for all systems. Ability to research and understand local codes and jurisdictional requirements for the project. Knowledge of project-specific environmental compliance requirements. Experience with successful interface management on Data Center/Mission Critical projects. OSHA 30 required.
