Safety Management Systems is seeking Health, Safety, and Environmental Specialists to provide HSE support for pipeline projects in the Louisiana area.

Drives and operates heavy-duty trucks and equipment in the hauling or distribution of materials, the transportation of equipment and in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
* Operates and maintains heavy trucks, tools, and equipment (e.g., dump trucks, flat-beds, loaders, grinders, chain saws, piling hammers, bull dozers, etc.).
* Completes maintenance, restoration, or construction of roadways, drainage systems, or disposal sites.
* Installs all types of culverts on county roadways.
* Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and as-built drawings.
* Builds sea walls, which includes driving wood pilings to hold sea wall up, shooting to grade and keeping sea wall in line.
* Installs guardrails at the end of bridges and beside highways to DOT specifications.
