The Construction Superintendent provides on-site leadership and coordination for all phases of commercial or residential construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material, and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding safely and in accordance with the established schedule and budget. Superintendents shall be responsible for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety. Coordinate and monitor daily jobsite activities of the subcontractors and Owner's vendors, assist in future planning. Perform quality control duties and responsibilities regarding the work being performed in accordance with the project documents and submittals. Inspect and track material deliveries and installation details to meet project documents (including approved submittals). Issue notices of non-compliance to sub-contractors regarding quality or work or scheduling. Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner. Maintain a daily log and upload photos of activities on the jobsite. Identify conflicts in construction documents and address with the appropriate parties or communicate with senior project leadership for resolution. Schedule and run weekly subcontractor preconstruction meetings. Attend CCG Superintendent quarterly meeting. Prepare written daily reports of work performed daily for client review. Coordinate material and equipment deliveries with subcontractors, and the client as necessary. Produce updated Project Schedules and 3-week lookaheads to review with Project leadership. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards throughout the construction process. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and project managers, to provide updates on project status and address any concerns. Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and project closeout documents. The Assistant Superintendent is responsible to support the Superintendent or Senior Superintendent in one or more operational areas of a construction project. This position may support the coordination and scheduling of multiple construction crews, helps to determine construction requirements, plans procedures, and ensures subcontract work meets required specifications. The position will also participate in the inspection of work and equipment to verify safety and ensure project operations specifications are met. In this role you may be required to travel up to 100% of the time. Responsibilities: Assist Superintendents with monitoring of the project schedule and budget and work with superintendents to maintain and update. Coordinate with the subcontractor's office for recovery plans where necessary, meet regularly with staff and subcontracts to discuss progress, obstacles, challenges and assist in removing barriers to completing work. Assist in coordinating daily operational objectives, timelines, and goals. Coordinate inspections and participate in the examination and inspection of work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
