    Job DescriptionSalary: CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT Traverse City Spence Brothers, a General Contractor and Construction Manager, is looking to fill a Construction Superintendent position to service our northern Michigan market, based out of our Traverse City office. The Construction Superintendent will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas to maintain the safety of workers. The Construction Superintendent should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Key Duties & Responsibilities The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overall construction job site coordination and management. The Construction Superintendent will provide daily leadership and direction to Spence Brothers and sub-contractors. The Construction Superintendent will ensure quality, cost, schedule and client satisfaction goals are being met. Act as a safety champion on all projects and lead by example by ensuring safety, compliance and quality regulations are followed. Report when workers are not following company safety procedures. Correct unsafe conditions immediately. Maintain records and provide the Project Manager updates regarding changes in scope and schedule. The Construction Superintendent will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful project completion. Develop and maintain project schedules. The Construction Superintendent will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the construction site. They should be able to determine and address any risk areas to maintain the safety of workers. The Construction Superintendent should be experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties and be able to establish a timeline for completion. Key Duties & Responsibilities The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overall construction job site coordination and management. The Construction Superintendent will provide daily leadership and direction to Spence Brothers and sub-contractors.
