Distribute the Roadway Bulletin, Terminal Bulletin & Daily Roadway Map to attendees of the Nightly Huddle.
Lead the Morning Huddle with Airport Operations support.
Distribute a report of the Morning Huddle attendees with ASR/construction activities.
Perform “Site Checks” at each location within the CTA, Terminals and the AOA locations that have active construction activities that are deployed during each shift. The “Site Checks” should include the following:
Check the number of personnel deployed
Verify that the correct ASR is “in hand” with the Project Superintendent and posted on the dash of all vehicles.
Verify that the correct barricading and signage is in place per approved ASR.
Verify all scheduled deliveries are contained within the approved ASR and coordinated at Nightly Huddle.
Communicate with Safety and Inspection team regarding compliance of scheduled work.
If through the “Site Checks” it is determined that there are vehicles or equipment parked curbside without the correct paperwork (an Approved ASR) or there is not a “No Cite / No Tow” for the specific license plate, contact LAWA Airport Police and Airport Operations in order to have the vehicle or piece of equipment removed from the CTA.
Take photos of each deployed project working in the CTA, Terminals and the AOA locations. The photos should capture items such as vehicle and equipment deployment, active construction, vital traffic and passenger movement as well as important barricades and signage. These photos should be labeled with relevant information such as photo description and date/time stamp.
Produce a Nightly Report that has both a written narrative component and photographic component that includes the following for each deployed project for that shift: personnel count, late flight information and any other relevant documents. Post the Nightly Reports to the CALMSHARE site. In addition, the nightly report should be saved on the V Drive and distributed to a predetermined stakeholder list.
Be thoroughly familiar with the scope and schedule for all projects (LAWA CIP, Maintenance, Airline, Concessionaire, TSA, etc.) currently active within the CTA, Terminals and AOA locations.
Act as responsible party to ensure that all construction in public areas has appropriate barricades and signage as per the approved ASR. If there are deficiencies noted, the NS-ARM will work with the contractor to correct deficiencies and will report deficiencies to the CALM Sign Shop Manager if additional signage is required.
Responsibilities include working with The Development Group (TDG) Element representatives, Facilities Maintenance Group (FMUG), Airport Operations (OPS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Information Technology Group (IMTG), TDG Safety/Inspections, and LAWA Airport Police Traffic Officers to develop protocols that will facilitate orderly shutdowns with minimum of disruption to passengers, tenants, and contractors.
Meet regularly with the CALM Area Resident Manager - Lead and make recommendations concerning procedures, protocols, and staffing.
Develop appropriate tracking and record keeping tools.

As a Superintendent, youll take the lead on field operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Duties
Take responsibility for the onsite construction of assigned projects including:
Coordinating subcontractors or multi-primes
Maintaining a positive relationship with Owners, Architects, Consultants, and Contractors
Managing and supervising self-performed work items
Processing requests for clarifications
Updating as-built drawings
Tracking costs and other items required to properly supervise the construction process
Developing initial project schedule and update on regular basis throughout the project
Assuring that progress photos are taken throughout the course of construction
Assuring that daily reports are accurately and promptly prepared
Complying with contract documents. Assure that the quality of materials and workmanship complies with applicable specifications and standards
Reviewing shop drawings and submittals to ensure proper coordination of the work
Assisting Project Manager in identifying and estimating changes in the work
Taking the lead in implementing the project and company safety plans
Working with the Project Manager assigned to the project as required
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of Commercial. Public Works experience preferred
Excellent attention to detail and facility with numbers
Ability to prioritize and multi-task, in a busy job site environment
Ability to resolve issues independently based on project/company standards and verification of facts prior to releasing documents to the client or outside agencies
Good judgment, logic, and ability to learn new things quickly
Must have good communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Procore, and MS Project scheduling software a plus
A valid driver's license and acceptable driving history are required

Construction Management is responsible for supervising and coordinating all on-site construction activities through the installation of a project or multiple projects. What You Will Do
On any given day, as an Assistant Construction Manager, we might:
Manages an entire scope of a small project or scope of work (i.e., guest rooms, graphics, FF&A, restaurant, retail etc.) which is self-contained and definable, within financial parameters and to the high-quality standards of WDI and Disney Experiences (DX)
Assists with informational flow and tracking (Submittals, RFI's, QA / QC)
Makes recommendations for product and people conflict resolution and problem solving on project within their scope
Assists in finalizing budget
Plays an active role in preparing professional bid packages
Manages relationships with Owner / Operator
Assists field team with daily issue resolution with other team members: Ride, Show, Entertainment, etc.
Assists with Assistant Construction Management tasks
Coordinates with multiple internal WDI and DX departments and external entities (including include Project Management, Estimating, Scheduling, Ride Engineering, vendors and contractors)
Assists with Punch / Completion Lists
Permit tracking (COA website for DLR / Accela program for WDW)
Manages construction site badging and site aerial photos
Provides administrative assistance to field team
Helps fill timeslot voids in the field (ie. cover superintendents)
Becomes familiar with WDI CM Duties, as defined in the CM ToolBOX
Experience
5+ years outside job-related experience or 2-5 years WDI construction management experience.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale and Anaheim, CA is $105,100 to $140,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead large hospital construction projects ($10M+) across California. The Construction Manager will provide field leadership, ensure project success, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, and maintain safety, quality, and schedule compliance. This is an onsite role with projects located throughout urban and rural California. Relocation or travel for qualified candidates is welcome.
Key Responsibilities
Champion project safety by implementing the Site-Specific Safety Plan, leading safety meetings, managing logistics, and serving as the point of contact for incident investigations.
Create, maintain, and update Project Schedules; monitor progress, maintain schedule logic integrity, and implement recovery plans as needed.
Coordinate all site construction activities to ensure adherence to project schedules and contract documents.
Supervise subcontractors and trade partners to ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and the Site-Specific Safety Plan.
Attend site inspections with authorities, third-party inspectors, and clients as necessary.
Facilitate coordination between trades and manage installation progress.
Provide field leadership in planning, scheduling, and trade management.

Prepare and maintain accurate Daily Reports.
Ensure timely processing of submittals and procurement of materials.

Monitor Energy Savings targets and collaborate with M&V and Engineering teams to ensure project alignment.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field OR equivalent work experience.
