Physical Demands The following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by a Superintendent to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time, and to stoop, bend, and crouch as required to perform Key Duties. Frequently work with hands extended overhead, sometimes in conjunction with the operation of hand power tools. Request Certificate of Insurance when applicable to meet the requirements of the building or project / owner. Understand the full scope of the project to determine the best Delivery and Installation solution. Required to ship product directly when possible and responsible for notifying the subcontracted labor well in advance to communicate the Estimated Install dates Develop and manage the phasing of the project by generating a Project Micro Schedule that meets client's move-in date as well as meets the needs of the GC and other associated trades working on site. Confirm and verify critical field dimensions and evaluate overall space to meet specifications Coordination and locating of electric, data, phone, and junction box / infeed / core locations as required. Review drawings and specifications prior to order entry to determine how the project should be phased out for receiving and installation Schedules orders, monitors shipping and installation dates, and generate timely delivery tickets to the warehouse Meet with the project Foremen prior to the first day of installation. Be on site during project Delivery. Be on site on the first day of installation, and then on an as needed basis. Perform final walk-through with client / GC and compile punch list that must be provided to client and customer service within 24 hours of completion of project Follows up on customer problems, such as back orders, damaged product, and punch-list items in a timely manner. Tracks progress of punch-list utilizing CORE. Be on site to oversee the D&I of the punch list and confirm that all the work was completed to the customer's satisfaction Obtain signed Delivery Tickets or signed Work Order from client, and written punch lists from our sub-contractors Close out all projects for month-end billing on a weekly basis Accountable for Change Orders and providing written documentation to both client and sales Maintain and enter information into PM's status reports in a timely manner Attend weekly and monthly Project Management meetings, trainings, and technology and process meetings.
