BRIEF DESCRIPTION: BluSky's Restoration Project Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of all assigned restoration and reconstruction projects, including but not limited to, customer service and communication, vendor selection and buyout, materials procurement, scheduling, budgeting, financial reporting, proactive safety compliance, and quality control. The Project Manager is also responsible for working closely with project stakeholders throughout the process to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage site personnel and subcontractors. Drive safety, quality, and productivity in the field. Adhere to all OSHA and environmental regulations. Ensure all work is properly contracted/subcontracted. Perform all contracted scopes per identified procedures. Ensure project work meets the highest standards of workmanship based on industry standards. Approve or reject invoices as appropriate, with proper communication with your project team. Properly project, record, and maintain all project costs on budget worksheets. Meet or improve upon revenue and profit margin goals as defined by BluSky. Professionally represent BluSky on emergency on-call management rotation. Track change orders and all extras on projects via signed change order forms and budget updates. All other duties or projects as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of full-time construction project management experience. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred. Skilled in construction project management, financials, processes, and administration OSHA 10 or 30, CPR and First Aid certifications preferred. Construction of multi-family, hotel, and multi-building facility experience preferred. COMPENSATION: This position offers a competitive base salary plus commission and comprehensive benefits. The SSHO is responsible for managing, implementing, and enforcing the project Accident Prevention Plan. The SSHO shall provide full-time on-site safety and occupational health management, surveillance, inspections, training, and safety enforcement. Assist in the Preparation of Accident Prevention Plans (APP) and ensure that it is followed by all employees, subcontractors, and vendors at each service site (The APP shall incorporate Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and Situation Specific Safety Plans that are relevant to the site-specific hazards and controls for each activity and type of work that may be encountered on the contract) Coordination of safety issues with the Quality Control Manager and site Superintendent on new definable features of work. Maintain the current SDS (MSDS) list of hazardous chemicals on-site. Ability to coordinate, document, and enforce safety and health on various construction sites. Oversee and manage the onsite execution of all field activities regarding Health and Safety procedures while exercising his/her authority to temporarily suspend workers from the job site for serious Health & Safety violations. QCM Responsibilities: Lead in implementing the three phases of Quality Control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-up. Control the daily technical and administrative functions of the USACE RMS/QSC system. Coordinating third-party testing agents as outlined in the quality control plan. Preparing, implementing, and managing the Quality Control plan for each job. Preparing and completing daily Quality Control reports. Ensuring all Quality Control (QC) activities occur in a timely fashion in accordance with the project's schedule. Manage project close-out/Red Zone to ensure completion before project completion. Ability to coordinate, document, and enforce safety and health on various construction site projects. Qualifications: Certificate in the successful completion of the Construction Quality Management for Contractors (CQM-C) course. An undergraduate degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management is preferred. 5 plus years of construction experience, a minimum of 3-5 years in a CQCM role. Experience in large-scale construction management or construction trade with increasing levels of responsibility. Federal government construction experience (Air Force, Corps of Engineers, and NAVFAC) is a plus Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem-solving situations; use reason when dealing with emotional topics. Write clearly and informatively; edit work for spelling and grammar; vary writing style to meet needs; present numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.
