Key job responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible to lead one or more construction projects and for the management of the overall planning, scheduling, code compliance, cost tracking, safety, and completion of these projects. The Superintendent is responsible for directing and mentoring subcontractors and other on-site field staff. Develop, update, modify (as required) and maintain the project schedule including a master schedule, 60-day look ahead schedules for their assigned trades, and two-week look ahead schedules for their assigned trades.
Understand and be familiar with the date by which all materials must arrive on the job and convey that information to the project management team for preparation of the contract items lists and shop drawing schedules.
