This will be a direct hire position offering a competitive salary, bonus scheme, per diem where applicable. Position will be fully remote with frequent travel to project sites predominantly in the Gulf, Central and West locations. Must have experience gained in heavy civil construction (Infrastructure, Utilities, Underground water lines, Civil Excavation, Earthwork, Site Preparation, Demolition). General Summary:
Superintendents are responsible for the scheduling, coordinating and supervising of craft employees and assigned staff. Superintendents may also be responsible for the coordination and support of subcontractor's field operations. Superintendents work under the general guidance and direction of a Project Manager or Construction Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Organizing and planning field activities for craft and equipment resources.
Oversee work performance and productivity of crafts and subcontractors to ensure project rules, procedures, specifications, safety requirements, etc. are followed.
Assist with selection and hiring of project craft personnel.
Ensure craft timecards accurately reflect hours and job tasks worked.
Advise project management of potential changes (scope and conditions), potential problems, work interferences, schedule difficulties, etc.; assist in circumventing /resolving such problems as required.
Assist in planning work schedule, determining manpower levels, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc. at least 2 weeks in advance.

Enforces the site and corporate Health and Safety Plans

Structural Concrete knowledge: Forming, Rebar, Pouring of Concrete (Note that MLCP will subcontract Shotcrete and large concrete pours)
PVC Plumbing knowledge: PVC sch 40 and 80 plumbing
Compensation:
Base salary in the 75k - 100k/year range
100% on construction site
Regular travel within 7 - 10 hours of our clients' main office in King of Prussia, PA, is expected
Additional pay available for employees able to work full-time remote based.

Responsibilities
Supervise, lead, and coordinate concrete crews, excavation teams, and civil field labor across active jobsites.
Perform and oversee hands-on tasks including concrete forming, concrete pouring, concrete finishing, rebar placement, saw cutting, grading, trenching, and site prep work.
Read, interpret, and verify accuracy of blueprints, structural drawings, civil plans, and construction specifications.
Manage workforce productivity, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with project scopes.
Maintain jobsite organization, equipment readiness, material tracking, and overall site logistics management.
Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to maintain construction schedules and resolve field challenges.
Conduct daily safety briefings, enforce OSHA safety standards, and promote a zero-incident jobsite culture.
Complete daily logs, timecards, material reports, and field documentation in construction management software.
Qualifications
10+ years of concrete construction experience, with 5+ years as a Foreman, Site Foreman, or Field Supervisor.
Expertise in concrete forming systems, structural concrete, finishing techniques, excavation operations, trenching, grading, and earthwork.
Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, formwork layouts, and engineered plans.
Demonstrated leadership in managing multi-trade field crews in fast-paced construction environments.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and jobsite decision-making skills.
Proven commitment to construction safety, OSHA compliance, and risk mitigation.
Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Must pass pre-employment and random drug screenings.

A Day in the Life of a Sr. Construction Manager:
Provide services and support for the following areas:
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
Facilitate the development of cost estimates that include conceptual estimates prior to design as well as detailed time and materials estimates from design documents.
Act as a liaison between the company / general contractor / landlord / architect / Operations team and other vendors to ensure proper communication and correspondence occur in a timely manner to expedite the development process.
Maintain and update the project tracking software as to project status and achieved benchmarks.
Provide detailed updates in roll out meetings on status of all assigned projects.
Inspect proposed project spaces for construction and/or conversion needs, working with architects and other vendors.
Assist with development, review and modification of floor plans and construction documents, as needed.
Manage the GC selection & bid process, bid leveling and qualifying, making recommendations to Director of Real Estate for selection of GC and awarding of contract.
Work closely with Construction Coordinator to ensure proper timing of equipment, fixture and supply deliveries prior to open.
Weekly on-site visits to manage and drive progress on construction projects.
Interface with other vendors such as IT and medical equipment vendors to ensure timely delivery and installation of items.
Test and confirm functionality of all systems, working with other staff as necessary.

Working knowledge of all crafts (ability to read and understand specifications for all trades), and foreman or journeyman in at least one trade, or project engineer
