Laborer Pay Range: * $20-$22/hour * Paid WEEKLY Laborer Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Cleans the jobsite with shovels, brooms, scrapers, pushes wheelbarrows, and uses a steam-cleaner. * Assists in concrete work. Pours concrete, uses jackhammers, and rakes to spread the concrete. * Paint structural steel on the jobsite using rollers and brushes. * Maintains the grounds; picks up trash, uses weed eater and cuts grass. * Adheres to all company safety and OSHA regulations. * Assists welders with grinding as needed. * The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required. Laborer Qualifications: * A minimum of six months' experience as a laborer in a construction company preferred. Laborer Physical Demands: * Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds occasionally. * Must have the ability to use jackhammers. * Requires a considerable amount of bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. * Must be able to tolerate temperature fluctuations, loud noises, a dusty work environment, and able to be around high voltage electromagnetic fields. This role is classified as safety sensitive. Perform maintenance as needed. Construction and installation of concrete forms and bracing materials. Pour and finish concrete. Ability to measure and cut materials to required size for installation. Ability to install framing, wall covering materials including installation and finishing of sheetrock, and finishing trim work. Ability to determine paint types and apply per specifications, including brush and roller applications with minor spraying abilities. Qualifications: Familiarity with common construction trade tools, including use, safety standards, and maintenance. Heavy Equipment operating experience a plus (Skid, Trackhoe, and Backhoe). Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted. Light mechanical experience a plus. Proficiency in using finishing tools and equipment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent attention to detail and quality control. Ability to interpret and follow technical plans and specifications. Must be able to read and communicate in English to understand technical documents, safety procedures, and instructions relevant to job duties.
