This position may also assist skilled trades and perform other duties as assigned. **Responsibilities** Essential functions will include: + Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards. + Erect and dismantle scaffolding, shoring, braces, traffic barricades, ramps, and other temporary structures. + Load, unload, and distribute building materials, tools, and machinery to appropriate locations. + Measure, mark, and record layout dimensions for construction activities. + Operate pumps, compressors, or generators to power tools, equipment, or move materials. + Mix, pour, and spread concrete using portable cement mixers. + Control and direct traffic around work zones. + Dig trenches or ditches, backfill excavations, and compact or level earth using hand and pneumatic tools. In this role you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. The primary responsibilities of Construction Laborer perform a wide variety of manual duties in support of telecommunications construction. This role performs tasks involving physical labor on job sites and light/heavy construction projects. Maintain control of outside plant (OSP)/Inside plant (ISP) activities surrounding the assigned work area(s). As a general laborer with Rinker Materials, you will contribute to one of the nation's largest manufacturers of reinforced concrete pipe, box, bridge, and other related infrastructure products for stormwater and sanitary applications. Operating machinery and equipment, such as concrete mixers and conveyors. Cleaning and maintaining equipment and work areas. Assisting with the transportation and placement of concrete forms and molds. Loading and unloading materials and supplies. Sets up forms in the manufacturing production process of concrete products. Handling and moving heavy construction materials. Following safety protocols and wearing appropriate protective gear. Adhering to quality control standards to ensure the production of high-quality concrete products. Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by management at any given time and in any given area About You We Require: Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools. Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment. Preferred - Experience working in a manufacturing environment. Preferred - Experience operating a forklift, especially an industrial forklift. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds frequently. Over 50 pounds, a forklift or crane will be used. Must be able to push or pull cart with 80 pounds of force. Must be able to climb stairs and ladders. Must be able to step up 20 inches. Title: Meal Site Worker Department: Nutrition and Senior Centers FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Report To: Center Operations Manager Summary: Provides food services and performs other duties at the senior center. Essential Functions: ⦁ Assists in operating the meal programs; maintains sanitary and safe procedures in all areas of food service delivery in accordance to the County Senior Nutrition Program standards. ⦁ Checks and keeps a record of delivery time and temperature of catered food; maintains appropriate food temperature as required. ⦁ Prepares room and furniture for meal service and activities; directs volunteers in setting up and cleaning up the kitchen and dining areas. ⦁ Prepares beverages and other food items for meal programs; serves the prescribed portion of meals to participants. ⦁ Provides general clean up after meals; cleans all equipment and work areas; washes and sanitizes food service wares. ⦁ Prepares meals according to established menus, recipes and number of clients to be served. ⦁ Assists in food preparation for special events at different senior centers as needed. ⦁ Attends in-service training. ⦁ Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications: ⦁ Minimum one year of experience in community and food service. ⦁ Experience in food production or catering preferred. ⦁ Must be bilingual in English and Chinese.
