Essential Duties and Responsibilities Labor Contracts & Union/Guild Administration Analyze, interpret, and apply entertainment industry collective bargaining agreements to ensure accurate wage and benefit implementation. Maintain and manage union and guild fringe structures, contribution rates, and benefit rules across projects. Monitor and control calendars of scale wage changes, fringe increases, contract expirations, and amendments. Create and distribute summaries of key contractual changes for internal stakeholders. Serve as a subject matter expert for union-related inquiries from internal departments and external partners. Provide guidance on contract interpretation for complex or non-standard production scenarios. Contributions Oversight Oversee union and guild contribution reporting, verification, and reconciliation. Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies in pension, health, welfare, and other fringe contributions. Research and respond to delinquency notices, late penalty letters, shortages, and audit inquiries from fund offices. Run and review fringe and contribution reports to support audits and internal compliance. Request refunds and corrections from fund offices when overpayments or errors occur. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation for all union and guild contribution rates and reporting. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Systems Support Coordinate closely with Payroll to validate wage and fringe setups and provide backup documentation as needed. Partner with IT and Development teams on system enhancements related to labor contracts, fringes, and reporting. Assist with project setup, validation testing, and quality assurance for union-related payroll configurations. Support and provide oversight to the Contributions function and related team members. Consult with HR as necessary on compliance, Wage & Hour, and legal matters outside of the scope of work for Labor Relations. Additional Responsibilities Maintain internal labor relations documentation and reference materials. Ensure compliance with contractual updates, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. Provide high-quality service and timely responses to internal and external stakeholders. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience working with entertainment industry union and guild contracts and contributions. Strong knowledge of collective bargaining agreements, fringe benefits, and contribution reporting requirements. Proven experience working in a multi-union environment. Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to communicate complex contractual issues clearly, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency with payroll systems, reporting tools, and Excel. Excellent Interpersonal, Communication, and Executive Function skills.
