Full-time Description Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns and assembly of building components. Follows work orders and instructions in order to accurately and efficiently prepare and assemble building components based on assigned production area (construction worker, electrician, drywaller, framing carpenter, trim carpenter). Some of the specific responsibilities for the various production areas include but are not limited to: o Construction Worker - Preparation and assembly of various building components and materials. o Electrician - Prepare framing for wiring and install wiring, receptacles, pull down bars, fasteners, leno sheets, and breaker boxes. o Drywaller - Tape drywall seams, mix and apply mud to taped drywall seams, apply vapor barrier and texturing material using spray gun, apply texturing design, and clean and maintain equipment. May be cross trained across various line assembler duties to ensure job knowledge progression and a balanced work force. Meets weekly production goals per assigned production supervisor or team lead. Maintains a good attendance record and proactively communicates and coordinates with supervisors regarding attendance. Maintains and keeps tools, machinery, and work area clean and organized. Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed. Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age This is a physically demanding job requiring the ability to lift 40+ pounds, to grip, work over head, pull at chest height, bend, stand, walk, kneel, crawl, push, pull, reach, climb and carry various materials and equipment. GED or High school diploma Experience in one or more of the relevant production areas is preferred (construction, electrician, drywaller, trim carpenter, framing carpenter, general labor). The tending of all temporary heat when done by any process; the drying of plaster, concrete, mortar or other aggregate when done by salamander heat or any other drying process. The tending of cement masons, brick masons, plasterers, carpenters and other building construction crafts. Tending shall consist of the preparation of all materials and the handling and conveying of materials to the point of erection or installation to be used by mechanics or other crafts, whether such preparation is by hand or any other process, including power rigging and incidentals thereto. After the material has been prepared or unloaded, tending shall consist of the supplying and conveying of said material and other materials, whether done by hand, shovel, bucket, hod, wheelbarrow or buggy, or other motorized unit used for such purpose. The tending of Carpenters shall consist of the conveying of all materials from point of unloading to the point of installation or erection by any mode or method; the cleaning of all materials, such as pulling or nails, the cleaning and oiling of all forms; the driving all stakes for bracing of forms, tending the saw man by off bearing the materials, supplying material to the saw and the stacking of the finished product and then transferring said materials to the point of installation on the project.
