- Cuts pipe using hacksaw, pipe cutter, hammer and chisel, cutting torch and pipe cutting machine.
- Threads pipe using threading machine.
- Bends pipe by hand or with pipe-bending tools and machine.
- Mounts pipe hangers and brackets on walls and ceiling to hold pipe.
- Assembles and installs a variety of metal or nonmetal pipes and pipe fittings, using threaded caulked, soldering, brazen, fused, or cemented joints, and hand tools.
- Secures pipes to structure with bracket, clamps, and hangers, using hand and power tools.
- Installs and maintains refrigeration and air conditioning systems, including compressors, pumps, meter, pneumatic and hydraulic controls and piping,
- Test piping systems for leaks by increasing pressure in pipes and observing gauges attached to pipes for indication of leaks.
- Welds pipe supports to structural steel members.
- May observe production machines in assigned area of manufacturing facility to detect machinery malfunctions. May operate machinery to verify repair.
- Loads, transports and unloads material, tools, equipment and supplies.
- May assist in lifting, positioning and securing of material and work pieces during installation.
- Performs minor maintenance of cleaning activities of tools and equipment.
- Respiratory protection is common and may be required.

What You'll Do:
Assist the Vactor / CCTV inspection operators with setup and provide support throughout the job
Drive support vehicles (pickup trucks) with equipment
Provide support and work in and around sewer and storm drains
Monitor gauges, dials, or other indicators to ensure equipment is working properly
Learn / train on Insituform's products, processes, safety procedures, installation techniques, and equipment
Perform set up and clean up tasks at job site / shop
What We Need From You:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience as a Construction or Field Laborer is highly preferred
Valid driver's license required with a clean motor vehicle report
Must have strong communication skills, be reliable, and be a team player
Ability to lift / move up to 75 pounds and use pneumatic, battery-powered, or electric tools
Comfortable working in and around sewer and storm drains
Comfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
Must be able to travel weekly (potentially out of state)

Job Description
We are seeking dependable, hardworking General Laborers for a direct-hire opportunity supporting battery storage, substation, and utility-scale solar projects. The first assignment will be in Houston, TX, with ongoing travel required to project sites throughout the state.
This position offers full benefits including 100% employer-paid medical, dental, vision, 401K with a company match, PTO and guaranteed overtime
Pay is starting at $20/hr.
This role is essential to site operations and requires individuals who can handle physically demanding work, follow direction, and assist with a wide range of tasks in outdoor construction environments.
Responsibilities:
Perform general labor duties to support site construction and electrical crews
Operate forklifts and telehandlers for material handling (if qualified)
Load, unload, and organize construction materials and equipment
Dig trenches, backfill, and perform other ground work as needed
Maintain site cleanliness, including trash pickup and debris removal
Assist with pumping water and managing drainage after rain
Support crews with equipment movement, staging materials, and basic tasks
Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment
Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors to keep the project on schedule
Qualifications:
Prior experience on construction sites required
Experience with forklift operation (certification preferred but not required if willing to obtain)

This position requires knowledge and utilization of construction tools. The laborer position will also work with underground piping, process piping and process equipment installations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support carpenters in aligning and verifying the correct placement of forms for footings, walls, columns and decks.
Coordinate with assigned crew to ensure successful concrete pours.
Maintain company tools and equipment in good working and safe order.
Install below ground and above ground piping.
Perform general demolition and other general labor throughout the project.
Perform site cleanup.
Assist equipment operators, carpenters, craft workers and other skilled labor when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements:
2 years of experience in the construction industry as a laborer.
