What Your Job Will Be Like We are seeking professional construction workers (job title: Facilities Technologist) with demonstrated skills and experience in performing construction activities involving carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, structural. On any given day, you will be called on to: * Perform a variety of construction-related functions. * Read engineering drawings, blueprints, standards and specifications in order to install facility systems and components to specifications and code. * Demolish, install, test, and repair of facility structures, systems, and components. * Understand and follow Universal Building Codes during construction. * Use and maintain tools of the trade to perform work. * Use mathematical skills to measure, mark, cut, and lay out material and erect or assemble systems. * Perform general facility systems or equipment maintenance or repairs as required. * Collaborate and work as a team with other workers to produce finished construction projects timely and efficiently. * Follow all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment. * Support operational capabilities within facilities, including construction safety, permitting, document control, space management, energy monitoring, and information technology applications. * Understand and adhere to all applicable Sandia National Laboratories and industry regulatory and safety guidelines. * Ensure all results, materials, processes, and final products meet quality specifications and are completed according to established requirements. Salary Range $74,400 - $143,300 * Salary range is estimated, and actual salary will be determined after consideration of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications, and application of any approved geographic salary differential.
