DAY-TO-DAY
In this skilled trade position, you play an important part in the smooth operation of the construction team. The Laborer is a member of our outside plant division, is directed by the Construction Foreman, accountable to ensure accuracy related to tasks and follow all policies and procedures related to safety, quality and production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
Assist crew members with construction work as required
Operate compressors and missiles
Install pedestals and vaults
Load, transport, and unload tools, materials, and equipment in a safe manner
Dig trenches and remove, fill, or compact earth
Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces
Assist with the handling and placement of conduit and cables
Maintain equipment
Perform site clean-up
Complete all required Company documentation
