Title: Meal Site Worker San Mateo County Department: Nutrition and Senior Centers FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Reports To: Center Coordinator Summary: Provides food services and performs other duties at the senior center. Essential Functions: 1. Assists with the operation of the HDM Program, including, but not limited to, conducting in-home assessments for clients, managing volunteer drivers, and/or helping to plan and deliver meals to homebound clients as assigned. 2. Assists in operating the meal programs; maintains sanitary and safe procedures in all areas of food service delivery in accordance to County Senior Nutrition Program standards. 3. Checks and keeps record of delivery time and temperature of catered food; maintains appropriate food temperature as required. 4. Prepares room and furniture for meal service and activities; directs volunteers in setting up and cleaning up the kitchen and dining areas. 5. Prepares beverages and other food items for meal programs; serves the prescribed portion of meals to participants. 6.
