REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and SKILLS:
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Sciences degree from an accredited college or university
2-5 years pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biologics, medical device sales or related healthcare sales experience.
Must demonstrate the intellectual capacity to score highly on disease and product training exams, including being certified on product knowledge annually
Self-starter, with a strong work ethic, tenacity, and outstanding communication skills

The range displayed is a national range, and if selected for this role, may vary based on various factors such as the candidate's geographical location, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Position Purpose:
Establish new customers and maintain long lasting relationships to uncover sales opportunities in order to grow the footprint of Plimpton & Hills Corporation within the assigned territory.
Essential Functions:
Understand and anticipate the needs of customers
Work to expand and maintain a database of prospects within an assigned territory
Proactively seek opportunities to obtain new customers and research potential clients/accounts in order to identify key players
Use active listening skills to gain knowledge on what products fit client needs and introduce these products to clients accordingly
Stay current on existing and emerging product by attending trainings
Follow-up on all generated quotations to assure that the customer is being serviced and to document the outcome of the proposed solution
Generate profitable sales orders
Successfully close, on-board, and retain accounts using sales and customer service processes
Report competitive conditions and feedback from customers to management.
Maintain ethical, cooperative relationships consistent with company image and company/branch goals in the marketplace with builders, contractors, architects, professional remodelers etc. in order to grow profitable sales
Continuously expand product knowledge in order to best service the customer
Determine product sale price in accordance with company procedure as well as address questions about product availability

Qualifications
Experience, Education & Skills:
Must possess a valid drivers license and a clean motor vehicle record
